SOURCE: Below is what I get

Hello exqhentite,
seems like you are being redirected to another page which should not occur. At the url, are you typing in www.facebook.com or is there more following .com? It is possible that it maybe a malware or such. First clear your cookies and your history of any browser. For this case open up chrome and click on the wrench at the top right hand corner and select options. Then click Under the Hood on your left hand side of the page. You will see clear browsing data. Select it and then a page will open up and select clear browsing data again. Then select content settings (right next to clear browsing data) then select all cookies and site data... Then select remove all. Once your done this close down your browser and try again with www.facebook.com. If it still does not work, run antivirus program and scan your computer. I also recommend downloading combofix. You can download it from combofix.org and it will scan your computer for malware and spyware. Good luck.

What is the browser you're using? Here are the ONLY compatible browsers for Facebook:

  1. Mozilla Firefox
  2. Google Chrome
  3. Apple Safari
  4. Microsoft Internet Explorer
So it's better to use those web browsers for you to be able to use Facebook.

Once you click the "Make Changes and Restart", firefox will restart.

What do xpcom mean when trying to get on to internet site as it keeps comeing up cannot load xpcom

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. (XPCOM problems require a reinstall) This means you remove Firefox program files (not any bookmarks etc. in your profile folder) and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:
Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
  1. Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
  2. After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu).
  3. Delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
    • Windows:
      • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
      • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
    • Mac: Delete Firefox from the Applications folder.
    • Linux: If you installed Firefox with the distro-based package manager, you should use the same way to uninstall it - see Install Firefox on Linux. If you downloaded and installed the binary package from the Firefox download page, simply remove the folder firefox in your home directory.
  4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
    1. Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.

I can't watch videos

Firefox is a very popular web browser that enables you to search and navigate the web. It allows you to run a number of components, such as toolbars, download managers and video players, to enhance your browsing experience. However, you can run into occasional display problems and crashes that require some troubleshooting. With some simple guidelines, repair common Firefox problems and improve your browser.

Print or write these directions down before proceeding. Close down Firefox and click the Windows Start menu on the desktop. Select "All Programs" and navigate to the "Mozilla Firefox" folder. Click "Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)" in the folder. This launches Mozilla Firefox Safe Mode. In Safe Mode, you can repair Firefox issues. Select the areas you want to repair on the "Safe Mode" window. For example, select "Reset toolbars and controls" if you want to remove third-party toolbars. Select "Disable add-ons" if you want to disable plug-ins such as download managers. Click the "Make Changes and Restart" button to repair the web browser. Restart your web browser normally after you complete the repair process. Step 5. Uninstall and reinstall Firefox if you are still having problems with it. To do so, go to the Mozilla Firefox download page and click "Free Download" (see Below). http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ie.html When prompted, click "Save" and save the browser installation file on your desktop. Click the Windows Start menu and click "Control Panel." Double-click "Add or Remove Programs" to launch the programs list if you are using Windows XP. For Windows Vista and 7 users, launch the programs list by clicking "Programs" and clicking "Programs and Features." Click "Firefox" and click "Remove/Uninstall" to remove the web browser from your computer. Double-click the Firefox installation file you downloaded in Step 5 and click "Run" to reinstall the web browser on your computer.

When I open an internet site that has forms to complete, the boxes are not lined up and there are shadows. For example: Turbotax. I can't fill out the information to create a new account.

More info would be helpful - such as your operating system (WinXP? WinVista? Win7? Linux? Mac?),
and what browser you're using (Netscape? IE6? IE7? IE8? Opera? Firefox?) but there's a decent
chance that your browser's out of date, and that the CSS (Cascading Sheet Styles) code
comprising these HTML forms isn't being properly processed by your (obsolete) browser.
