Simply put, the Viewty is not a "Youtube phone" it is a DivX phone, in the way it can play divx flash files, but not standard adobe internet flash files, which unfortunately youtube switched over to after the release of this phone. It's a simple case of youtube screwed this phone over, not that LG were lying about its capabilities, sorry people, but unless you want to complain to youtube there is no solution for this issue.

Try installing adobe flash video for android phones. There might be other addins available for this type of device, I'm not to sure. Type adobe flash player for android on the google search pane, download and install the latest release through the device and thats it, you should be able to watch some videos that is supported for flashplayer on youtube. (Note: not all videos can play, an update will be required) Be sure to update and the video should play.

Warning: Do not install a program that is offered by a random site that
gurantees to play all videos for money.(Not all offers work)
The device is more than capiable of playing videos. You just
need the software, Adobe provides it for free.
