Question about Cell Phones
I have a voice mail and I want it reinstalled. I phoned Bell and was told my phone is locked. So what can I do to unlock it. Please help.
There are 2 locks on a phone.
1. A consumer set passcode or lock pattern. The can only be got rid of by a full factory reinstall, AKA a Hard Reset. This scrubs the phone clean.
2. a PUK Lock, this is put on by the cellular provider for a number of reason, phone reported stolen, non-payment of account, or too many attempts at the consumer lock code. ONLY Bell can provide the PUK unlock code.
There are two Tips about PUK Codes if you click on my name. One is under 'Load More Tips - Cell Phones and the other is in view.
