Hi i have a 42in deck on my poulan pro, i like to put a bigger deck 46 or bigger will they fit or is their any modification to be made, im running a 27hp on my at the moment thanks heaps.

What I have done in several cases is: Go online to the Poulan website/go to manuals/select manual for your model and serial number/Parts list. In the parts list, the option between a 42"/46" deck are shown. In these diagrams it will give you the necessary part numbers for belt and other parts that must be changed to receive the 46 in deck.

How to replace drive belts on 42in troy bilt rideing lawnmower

It depends on which belt. Mine is an older model that has 5 separate belts. You will probably need to remove the mower deck to get easier access to the belts and see what you're doing. Also, you may have to remove some belts to get at other belts. If you need diagrams of where everything goes, check out www.searspartsdirect.com. They have a pretty extensive library of diagrams and exploded views of different machines and appliances. You can also cross reference part numbers and part names so the counter person knows what you're asking for when you buy the parts you need. Good luck.

Belt goes around motor pulley and tiller pulley and above idler pulley, which is in the middle. When putting belt on, it is easiest to put around motor pulley first and tiller pulley (the large one) last. Belt is 3/8" x 27" v-belt. Idler pulley is available too, only under Lawn Boy part number, which is found on parts list at New Holland site. Just had to perform repair. All parts found on ebay.
Hope this helps!

Belt size of cutter belt on craftsman ride on mower 42in cut

Go to www.sears.com and click on partsdirect. Enter your model number of your tractor (found on a data plate usually under seat). It will take you to the page with your parts diagram. Look for the belt in diagram and scroll down to the appropriate number and it will give you the part number for the belt. You can order it from sears and pay shipping or go to local small engine parts department and give them the part number or you can just give them the model number of your tractor and they can get you the belt.
