SOURCE: Proform 345s stripes on the walking belt. Powdery residue on the floor below the belt. Everything functions normally, and the belt is properly aligned.

1) this a normal problem. However you must know that you must LUBE the deck belt every 5hours aprox, in according with the use.
2) You must check the tension in deck belt aprox 3- 4"High aprox from the middle.
God bless you

Belt keeps slipping on treadmill and belt is all the way back

If you have adjusted the tension on your belt to the max, it is more than likely time to replace your running belt. The running belt naturally stretches over time. I would suggest replacing the belt and flipping your deck. If the deck has already been flipped once, then you would need to replace the deck as well. Control panel shocks

This is a common occurrence as we enter the dry season. Static electricity will build up as you walk/run on your machine. There are many factors which make the problem more or less evident - the type of walking belt and deck, design of the treadmill, type of walking shoes, etc.

Some treadmills have a grounding wire from the console to the frame of the treadmill as well as a grounding wire from the rear roller to the frame of the treadmill. Check to see if these are in place, or have a qualified technician check this.

One common solution is simply to add a humidifier to the room where the treadmill is located. Raising the humidity will greatly reduce the static shock problem

What kind of lubricant fdo you use on treadmill decks

Silicone spray. Did you put it between the deck and the underside of the running belt? Not on the surface of the belt ( where you walk ) . if you put in on the top of the belt , then this is why it is slippery.

Hello, Our Precor 9.21si begins slipping after walking or running a few minutes. Seems to be worse the faster you go. After about 1 mile, the house fuse blows. What troubleshooting steps do you thi

This really sounds like the results of long term use without lubrication or wax between the belt and deck. Chances are you will need to replace the running belt and the deck or flip the deck if it has not already been done. The friction builds up between the deck and belt and caused the electronic components to overheat. The machine is shutting down as a precautionary measure. It will do this only so many times before the electronics are zapped. Start with the deck and belt. Hopefully the electronics are okay. Life fitness 95ti belt moving to one side any way of correcting

If the walking belt has shifted to the left, use the Allen wrench to turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 of a turn; if the walking belt has shifted to the right, turn the left rear roller bolt counterclockwise 1/2 of a turn. Be careful not to overtighten the walking belt. Plug in the power cord, insert the key, and run the treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is centred.

After walking about 15 seconds the belt slows way down and stops completely.

The walking belt slows when walked on the walking belt maybe overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged or the opposite the drive and /or running belt may need tightening. Last thing would be that the belt needs lubrication to be applied between belt and deck.

Noisy deck on proform treadmill

If you can take the machine apart, perhaps replace the deck, if replacement isnt possible try coating it with a polyurathane in order to help reglue the fibers togeter. particle board WILL degrade over time with stress especially running.
