Question about Frigidaire Dryers
To start remove and clean lint filter and check that the air ducts are not obstructed.
If the Dryer gets very hot, this is often because the heating element has a contact to ground, and this cause the heating element not shutting down when required.
Check heating element connection, fix the problem or replace the wiring harness to the heating element.

Tips for a great answer:
Good afternoon friend, thanks for the post!
I see from your post that your Frigidaire dryer is getting extremely hot on the top and back. Have you checked to make sure that it is getting proper ventilation? I would verify nothing is blocking your dryer from ventilating which could be causing the appliance to heat up. If it continues to heat up I would reach out to a technician to come diagnose and repair your dryer. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
