My lawnboy silver series is not getting any spark

If you are getting no fire it is going to either be your coil is grounding out through the kill wire somewhere or your coil has gone bad. Try unhooking your kill / ground wire directly from the coil then check for fire. If you still have no fire then you will need to replace the coil. Hope this helps.

Why don't I get spark on my briggs and stratton 3.75 model 98902

Did you check the ignition shutoff wire? Make sure it isn't grounding. It is a common Briggs problem. Take the wire off of the switch contact and check for spark again.

8 hp briggs no spark, new coil ,new electronic

make sure the plug wireisn't grounding on sheet metal. Verify current to ignition module and that module is securely mounted for grounding. Negative side of coil to module, pos to ignition switch or starter button . Chk for current at coil +. . Coil -- should pulsate when cranking. Ensure there are no inline fuses, fuse box fuses, or fusible links incorporated into wires lesding to module. Good Luck_Ned_
