Simpson 4kg Ezi dryer. I changed the capacitor, but the motor is not working.

Im sorry I assume it was a dryer issue your having? but some of these same checks will work on a washer. Fist off I would check for bad fuse usually located along the drum lining. or in the panel board itself.

test motor for bad centrifigal swtich? also a bad door switch or thermal fuse will stop it from operating at times also. there are several things to check, also check belt on tensioner it may have come off and in turn shut off belt switch? see my pics

Simpson Aquarius 824 washing machine washes, drains but won't spin.

If your Simpson Aquarius 824 washing machine is not spinning, there are a few potential causes for this issue:
  1. Lid switch or door lock: The washing machine may have a safety feature that prevents it from spinning if the lid or door is not properly closed or the lid switch/door lock mechanism is faulty. Check if the lid or door is securely closed and ensure that the switch or lock mechanism is functioning correctly.
  2. Drive belt: The drive belt that connects the motor to the drum may be worn out or broken. If the belt is loose, damaged, or slipping, it can prevent the drum from spinning. Inspect the drive belt and replace it if necessary. Refer to the user manual or contact Simpson customer support for guidance on how to access and replace the drive belt on your specific model.
  3. Motor or motor control board: A malfunctioning motor or motor control board can also prevent the drum from spinning. If the motor is not receiving the proper signals or power, it may not engage and rotate the drum. In this case, professional repair or replacement of the motor or control board may be required. It's recommended to contact Simpson customer support or a qualified appliance repair technician to diagnose and resolve the issue.
  4. Other issues: There could be other potential causes for the problem, such as a faulty capacitor, wiring issue, or control module problem. These issues typically require professional diagnosis and repair.
It's advisable to refer to the user manual or contact Simpson customer support for specific troubleshooting steps and guidance tailored to your washing machine model. They will be able to provide more detailed assistance and advise on the best course of action for repairing your machine.

Simpson dryer 39s600m. Door switch blows house fuse

It sounds like you might have wired it incorrectly. Door switches do fail, but nothing should ever spark.

No power to motor checked continuity of main switch the door microswitch is brand new and has continuity so to has the spring loaded idler circuit breaker switch, dryer was running after pulled down and...

I know you have already checked but first things first: breaker is not tripped, have 220 volts at outlet, have 220 volts at terminal lugs of dryer, if yes to all then some motors have a switch on the motor, do not know if yours will, it is where the power plugs into the motor, one is a trip the other a reset. Now we get into the other aspects of why dryers will not start, since the door switch is eliminated, then it is on to the others, here is a website that will help, now if all checks good feel free to post, Good Luck Tim:

Simpson Maxidry Tumble dryer (Cloths dryer) How

Hi there, There is a switch at the bottom of the dryer. It has a groove for the spring to fit around. Then the spring goes through the metal tag with the holes in the pulley. The pulleys 2 prongs then fits into the slot near the motor. The belt goes through the pulley and around the motor wheel. When fitting the drum, tape the belt at three points on the drum with the machine door facing down making installation easier. Once installed remove the tape. The dryer now works like a dream. See the attached photo. Good Luck!8e72e75.jpg

When the dryer is on high or medium heat, it trips the power breaker of the house. it does not do this on air only/no heat", which makes me think of a short in heating unit.

the dryer is run by a universal motor, and these motors (while being very robust) can draw more current if the torque put on the drive train is overloaded. try running dryer with less clothes.
