They don't get deleted. It just means you haven't signed on as that operator. It saves paper by only printing cashiers that have made sales that day

SOURCE: Casio TE-2000 Till - reprint Z Reads

Hi.
Unless you have been resetting the periodic report (Z2) every six months, then all you can do is use your audit roll (journal roll) and take the totals from that back to six months.

kharenzky_29: Sounds like you have liquid in your keyboard.

It sounds like you might have used the wrong clerk system in your MAC code. If you use a single clerk button on keyboard, you need clerk code set in the MAC code. If you use the clerk buttons at the top of the keyboard, you need to set clerk key in the MAC code. If you tell me the MAC code you used during the reset, I can see which system you are using.

Do you mean a product name, or the message at the top of the receipt?

Casio TE2400 program tables/checks.Tried to reset values back to 000's but now it is hung up and will not allow any entries keeps asking us to sign in but will not accept any clk no.

You can never set point of sale machines to zero, because it would encourage *****. I worked at a place where a manager thought he could just keep doing Z Readings until it came back to 71, and then it went to 171, and then to 1071. He was there all night trying to make his till reading balance with 70 from the day before.. He blamed the machine, auditors checked with company, he lost his job.

Sometimes you will find a reset button under the keyboard, but if not, you will need to contact the maker direct, or a service centre who service that make locally.

How to delete a clerk name and replace it with another name on Geller Towa ET 6600 (manual not helping!)

Good old machines. Off the top of my head, I think you might need to make sure you are logging in a clerk if you change a clerk name. Some are set up for cashiers so you would need to change cashier name if you log in a cashier

Program a cashier onto a Casio TK 7000

It should be the 05 file on that machine so you just add the cashier number in front of the file number (105 for cashier 1, 205 for cashier 2 etc). So go to program 2 then use the 05 code as I've said to edit the text. The text entry procedure is shown in the manual so just run through that to familiarise yourself. If you don't have the text entry information in your manual, then you have the wrong one. You need this one:

Reprogramed tax after initializing Sharp ER-A330 now will not accept any sntry

I believe the ER-A330 has a Cashier # button - it should be labeled CASH #. It has to have a cashier signed on to ring a sale. Most owners forget that, because the same cashier stays signed in all the time, and nobody uses the button. If I'm right, all you have to do is this (in REG mode):
[CL] 1 [CASH #]
and start ringing your sale. The CL was to clear the error condition, if it was in one. 1 CASH # assigned Cashier #1 to the register.
The reason the register has the button is so it can track sales totals for each employee or shift. The register can be programed to stick with one cashier until another is signed on, or it can force you to sign on for every sale. At the end of the day it can print the normal Z totals by touching the CA/AT key, and touching the CASH# key gives totals for each cashier, I think.
Initializing the register cleared the cashier assignment and got you into the predicament. Touching the CASH # key twice will also clear the cashier assignment, as will resetting the Cashier totals with a Z reading. In any of those cases, just go back to REG and touch 1 CASH# again (or a different number if you want to sign on a different cashier).

Ok. that's good. You have performed an initial reset that does not lose any data. You must log back on after an initial reset. <div>Find the button marked clerk, clk#, cashier, cash# or similar. This is your log on button. Now type a clerk code (default is 1) then press the cashier button.</div> <div><br /></div> <div>-------------------------------------------------------------------------</div> <div><br /></div> <div>If anyone needs a Samsung SER-6500II or SER-6540II manual, c-tech has them here:</div> <div><br /></div> <div><a href="http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Samsung2.php">http://the-checkout-tech.com/manuals/cashregisters/Samsung2.php</a></div>
