I have a triangle tube challenger boiler. D.W & radiant. It has a drop in temperature about 1.5 -3 min. after turning water on. In shower and in sinks. Was able to watch tank and feel water from laundry...

A lot depends on the size of the tank. And when it heats some systems only heat at night , this is ok if the system is large , on most heaters there is a thermostat on the side that can be used to set to a higher temp. the thermostat on your heater may be faulty.

Freeze temp is not holding zero

When the compressor shuts off the freezer temps will slowly go up until the compressor recycles. The temp will not stay at a constant zero but fluctuate back and forth in accordance with compressor function. My temps vary from -2 degrees to about +4 degrees when the compressor kicks on again.

The smoker burner wont stay lit on my grill. I can get it lit but it wont stay on

I had the same problem and I found that if I tightened the thermocouple line on the back of the smoker control knob it would work properly. You can see the thermocouple line brass nut thru the slotted opening just above the double doors and below the control knobs. Mine was only finger tight and as soon as I tightened the thermocouple line nut, everything worked normal. Good Luck

Tried everything but I never could get the temperature above 200

grill wok replaces charcoal bin
Confirming that it works well. Super idea and very effective tool for keeping the fire consistently hot. Roughly $12 for one at local depot. This takes the frustration factor out.

Temp will stay nicely for an extended period of time. You will use less charcoal, but you do need to check on it every 1 1/2 to 2 hours to keep the temp constant.

Going online and reading the reviews on my smoker from Home Depot I found out that everyone has this problem with this smoker. Without making any adjustments it doesn't get enough air to the coals to make the temp go up. Most people drilled holes into the coal pan and that works fine.

Why does my temp gauge fluctuate when i drive in town but stays level on the highway

When on the highway the wind blown through the grille naturally cools the rad coolant. While stuck in traffic the radiator fan will intermittantly cut in to prevent over heating, thus the fluctuations in the temp. gauge.

Regulator is stuck. Either replace it or pop open the little cap and adjust it a little.
