Hermle clock movement does not slow down when using regulating screw is there another adjustment I can make

You need to bend the arm on the one hammer back that is making the clunk sound. You will have to experiment a little until you get the sound you are happy with.

One is the Hermle logo, one is model number of the movement and the third is the length of the pendulum if so equipped.

you can try this although it may not work with your movement: set the clock at 9 and then move the hands forward past the 12 position. count the strikes. move the hands backward to the 9 position and then advance forward to the 12 position. count the strikes. did the strikes increase by one? if so, keep doing the same thing until your get 12 strikes when you are on the 12. then you can move forward and set the correct time and have the correct # of strikes.

This clock has a floating balance escapement.

Hold the balance snuggly with 2 figures. Take a small screw driver and push one of the 4 legs above and attached to the disk to the "+" direction. Move it about 1/4 turn. Set the correct time and check again the next day. If the clock is still slow, move it again and set the hands. Do this until the clock is accurate.

Disclaimer: If this movement was made in the 1970 or early 1980's (The date is a 2 digit # above the movement model number). Those years the clock manufac. (Hermle) did not do well in quality materials. The may need an overhaul or movement replacement. I can provide more information if needed.

1/8 inch movement of the pendulum bob is equal to about 3 min per 24 hours running.
-To increase the time of the clock, move pendulum up.
-To slow down the time move, pendulum down.

Regulation notes:
These novel clocks are at best only a "fair" time-keeper. You can expect 100 to 120 sec per 30-hour winding period. I recommend that if it is within a few minutes per winding, simply RE-set the time.

-The regulation obstacles are obvious:
1. Open pendulum, this allows even the slightest breeze from a fan, ceiling fan or even cross-winds inside your house to affect both time qualities and/or its running ability.
2. The Pendulum material is wooden, and sensitive to climatic condition, during times of high humidity the clock will slow down.
