I would double check all connections, it could be that you HDMI cable is loose.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have a sharp 70inch led tv . All of a sudden the screen just went blue . Have sound etc . Cannot c menu or anything on screen tho except for mayb 5seconds after turning on . Any thing i can do?

Fault to its main board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ . In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

Likely a failed power supply.
Checking for certain failed components requires some technical knowledge.

Video went blank

It may be. I have replaced the lamp in my sony 3 times. Look for dlp lamps online and enter in your tv model. There are instructions online on how to change it yourself. They also show you in your manual. The power light should blink red indicating bulb failure. Read your manual. Hope that helps
