Repair Game Settings
After that get the utility tool like RegInOut. It is a very useful tool that cleans your computer of temp files, history and cookies. Its also used to fix any registry errors which made your game crash

There is a good chance of still getting a blue screen with a OS upgrade. You should try a clean install. Then try testing the RAM. Leave one DIMM at a time and swap to one slot at a time. This may help identify a bad one.

I can install the games, but when I try and play them I get an app crash error and the computer kicks me out of the game. It will not even load the title screen. Please help. I'm using windows 7

This is due to that the game you are trying to play has an crashed file in its runtime environment. This pack of game will never work on any computer and with any type of operating system. You need to buy a new pack of game which has complete and right files. Sometimes game packs have missing files in their installation environment but some have corrupted files in their runtime environment. It happens during the writing of pack to disk when the installation pack is not original. Try to get the original pack or disk from a well known shop.

There's always, do a complete reinstall.Some software will ask for uninstall-install-repair.Hit repair if available.You have the disk,the reinstall is probably your only option.

Baldur's Gate II Keeps crashing!

uninstall anything you dont need is a good start. If, when you have done this, it persists, then reinstall the game. If it still does it, check if all the system requirements match to the RECOMMENDED, NOT MINIMUM. Some games wont actually work on minimum. Plus, some games dont work on some operating systems.

well my friend thats because each xbox 360 drive is unique for each console so it only works on the original console, to solve this you have to flash the firmware from the old drive and put it the new one, there are many sites explaining it just google it.
