HP notebook 15ba009dx no OS stated, it came with w10 OS.
the pass words can be reset.
if in w10 there are 2 types.
local and at MS.com (cloud)
local is one method.
at microsoft it as a reset page, only for cloud login,
the local PW can not be reset (by design and is deeply encrypted now) next time write it down and put it in a book, for later access.
ever heard of google.
google W10, Microsoft password reset.
My answers assumes you have data in the cloud.
be the correct assumption , no>?

Power off laptop. Disconnect mains pack. Remove battery pack. Wait 30 sec. Connect just mains adaptor. Press power on button. press f10 for bios settings. Your passwords are now cleared

When you pull the battery it will set your cmos back to factory
Do one thing first, Your CMOS holds a lot of important information so before you go messing around with the batteryWRITE DOWN YOUR SETTINGS.
There are a few different ways to reset the cmos, here's a few:
1. there are many default common passwords,
At boot-up note the BIOS provider (Award, AMI, Phoenix, IBM, etc.)
