Is there a way to record a cash drawer count daily

Have you checked the many reports that come preinstalled with RPE. The detailed daily report can be used and filtered to one sales person or one workstation.

Linksys router needs resetting daily to establish Internet connection. Cable modem, hard wire and wireless xbox, laptop and I pad all not used at same time if that matters

Try to update firmware. Open your web-based settings for the router and click on update button. Follow instructions.Hope this will help, because I have same router and had same problems.

I want to change the way information is printed on our detailed daily report in Restaurant Pro Express. "Credit card sales" and "tips collected" print out seperately. I'd like them to be reported together...

unfortunately as far as i've experienced, there is no way to change reports at all unless you use advanced reporting, but those won't print to the receipt printer.

How to disable Outlook Express 6 Compact message prompt

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to disable this. The best you can do is delay the messages, or avoid them altogether. I have listed both methods below, and would suggest number 1 over number 2:

Method #1 - In Outlook Express, click on Tools>>Options>>Maintenance. Click on the Cleanup Now button, and then Compact. Doing this regularly will keep you from getting the messages.

Method #2 -
  • Open the registry (click on Start, Run, type Regedit and click Enter).
  • Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USERIdentitiesyour identitySoftwareMicrosoftOutlook Express.0.
  • Look for the registry value titled Compact Check Count. This typically has a value of between 1 and 5, which means Outlook Express will check every 1 to 5 times to see whether you need to compact. Double click on the item, and set the number to 100, so you will only see the message every 100 times you open Outlook Express.
- I offer remote control assistance as well! Please send me a note at Info@LoganComputersER.com

Gun safe, can't open it.

on the key pad bottom edge right above the nob are 2 half moons - this is for touching a new 9 volt to the metal and power the unit to input your code and open it - then replace battery.

Express slot is bad

I would be trying another card before checking the laptop.

If the port itself was shorting out then it would be shorting out with or without the card in place.

Automatic database backup

These instructions are for Microsoft SQL Server Standard.
Go into the Enterprise manager.
Select your server on the tree view on the left. Go all the way down to "Management" and click on "Backup".
This will allow you to set up the backup.
Check the box called "Schedule". This will allow you to select a schedule for automatically performing the backup.
Good Luck.
