Question about Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection (WM3945AGMW1WB)
I purchased a Sony Vaio VGN-CS21GN that comes with preloaded Vista, but i downgraded it to XP sp3 which was provided by Sony too. Now XP does not recognise the wireless network adapter. It says:"Driver not installed". i even tried installing it by downloading it from the intel site, but it does'nt work. The intel network adapter identification utility says:" Wireless LAN hardware not detected." Please help.
It shows Device Instance ID - ROOT\NET\0004
What to do now?

Not a problem in xp sp3 under the device manager in system properties you will have a yellow circle and black exclamation mark and probably say unknown device or ethernet device. right click go to properties and in details tab you will see Device ID.. we can track OEM driver from this.
