Try several applications with paper towels and a WARM iron. The heat will cause the wax to soak into the paper towel.

How do you recommend getting candle wax out of carpet? It's been there awhile : Cutting it out isn't an option.

Put a piece of clean fabric over the wax and use a warm iron on top of the fabric to melt the wax, rub and repeat if necessary

Carpet has candle wax stain. Tried to iron it out with paper and now area where stained is hard.

You can't heat wax it just melts and gose deeper in to the pyle and backing
Try dry scrapeing with a regular dinner knife nothing to sharp and vac and scrape vac .
You won't get all of it out of the backing but the rug should look the same as before the spill

How do i remove candle wax from a carpet

Fold a paper towel into several layers and place over the wax . Use the heat from an iron (dry not steam) to melt the wax so the paper towel can absorb the wax. You may have to do this several times depending on how much wax is in the carpet.

Candle wax from clothing

To remove candle wax from clothes you will need a clothes iron and paper towels. Make sure the iron is on low and the steam setting is off. Take several paper towels and place over the wax stains. Gently move the iron from side to side over the paper towels. Replace the towels as the wax is being lifted and absorbed and be Patient

My granddaughter drew a black design on our living room (cream) carpet with Crayola crayon. Do you have a safe way to get it off? Thank you for your help.

Try a paper sack over top of the crayon and a warm iron. Iron over the sack, moving it to clean areas as the wax melts onto the paper. Once it's just the ink, work on the stain. I used this method for a candle and it worked perfectly (royal blue candle, beige carpet). I then steam cleaned the carpet. Should work well.

Or try some dishsoap and scrub hard :)
