Rename the file names . Put 11 12 13 15 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 in front of each file name so as to have operating system sort them into chapter order.
File Sorting does not like 1 ,2,3 it will not sort in order when you get to 11 as 11 will be lower than 1 in the file sorting for some reason.
eg 11_your first chapter.doc
12_your second chapter.doc
13_your third chapter.doc

If you index each chapter with a number then they can place them in order.

How do I get my audible books on my sandisk clip sport mp3 player to play in the right order

it could be a filename issue. You could number your tracks in a mp3 tag editor. I suggest mp3tag v.2.5.x for your needs.

Try naming them in order, that might help. Also, create them within a folder, too.

Won't play book chapters in order

Maybe it is simply that the device is set on shuffle play. That way it will play mixed up. You can however create a folder with your LB series name and place the files in there.

Best luck, let me know if you got through.

Doesnt allow me to add chapters

ON what particular mode did you used? Is that a timeline or the story board? I suggest to you if you used story board switched it to timeline for you to allowing you to put chapter to your movies clips. By the way here is the procedure on how to.

Can't get the playerto play the chapters in order

You have to delete the affected Audiobooks off the player, then go into Windows Media Player, right-click one chapter at a time, select "Advanced Tag Editor" and manually assign a track number to each chapter -in order.
Then you can reload the audiobook onto the GoGear.

Keeping chapters in order

I fixed this problem by renaming the chapters from 1 to 01 etc. I found the mp3 player would store them in logical order i.e. 1 followed by 10 which was not what I wanted, by renaming the first 9 chapters 01 to 09 this resolved the problem. N.B. I tried to track down Reorganize on the web but gave up as I could only find a German site and I cannot speak German.
