This is a software issue. Take to a repair centre for full flashing using a computer system. The phone has been attacked by a virus.

Take a flat object like a butter knife, start near a corner and pop the back cover loose...then work your way around removing the cover, pull the battery out, press and hold the power button for a few seconds, put the battery back in, put the cover back on, turn the tablet back on.

HTC eris screen is froozen! I tried soft reseting (taking battery out and restarting) and when I turned it back on it still is stuck on that. I tried hard resetting it and still froozen. How can I fix this...

Frozen Screen problem mostly occurs when one has recently updated the phone software.
If that's the case with you taking battery out should have helped.
Try resetting it this way.

> Turn the power off. Take the battery off and then re-insert it.
> Hold the Volume Down button
> Hold the Power button until the display turns on
> You are now presented with a menu that allows for Clear Storage.
> Select Clear Storage by pressing the Volume Down button
> Press and release the Power button to select
> Press Volume Up for Confirming your action.
>>> If you selected YES, the phone will reboot to its factory fresh state and would also wipe all 3rd party applications.

My nokia 5230 is stuck in the loading screen with the "nokia" symbol. I basically cant do anything and it is very frustrating.I tried the battery thing and ill always end up still stuck at the loading...

Hello

Ok, the problem you are experiencing is actually related in ordnance to your memory card. Switch off your phone, take out your memory card, switch on the phone and see if the phone starts normally.

If so, the scenario is in effect on your memory card processing the software installed.

Keeps playing first few seconds of music files

Start by taking the battery out and reinstalling it.

If this doesn't work, and the keyboard is still responding, use the "soft reset" code - *#7370# - you will need to enter the phonecode (12345 if you have never changed it).

If that doesn't work, then use the "hard reset" code *#7870# - but be aware that this will delete all data that's stored in the phone memory - the contents of the memory card are not affected, however.

Finally, there is the phone reformat, which will also erase all the settings and data on your phone - to do this, remove the battery, reinstall it and hold down the "*", "3" and "Answer (green phone)" buttons and while holding them down press the power button. Hold the keys down until the phone starts asking the startup questions again. Having 3 hands helps for this proceedure.

If this doesn't help, then the last thing to try is to reinstall the phone firmware using the Nokia software update service - http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/device-software-update

If it still doesn't work after that, then about the only option is to take it to a Nokia service centre and get them to fix it, since it sounds like a hardware problem.

Froozen

do a hard reset.
1. Turn the G1 off. If it’s frozen on, take the battery out and put it back in the unit.
2. Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the middle.
Now to wipe the device clean:
3. Press Alt+L.
4. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
5. Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

N95 UI Gone Crazy

dear,
most probably it happens with stuck button. may be the casing is not properly fixed with the phone. check it first. sometimes, it happens, that a button seems to be ok but physically it is stucked. if problem persists, then try with removing the memory card and do a master reset, if necessary
