SOURCE: Diesel #8-32 echo power mics

cobra 4 pin is pin1= shield, pin2= mic audio (usually the shield is wrapped around the mic audio wire).pin 3= transmit or push to talk usually red or white whichever isnt wrapped with the shield, and pin4 = receive or speaker complete

5 pin cobra=1-Audio 2- Shield 3-Receive 4-Switching Wire 5-Transmit, you can jump pins 4 and two

I can't remember if the 2000 is a 4 pin mic, If it is the wiring will be 1 Sh/Red 2 White 3 Blue 4 Black ;Yellow not used.

hi the easiest solution i find is to keep the ptt pressed remove wires from connector ,then place connector in radio try two wires at a time you will finally get the transmit wires then all you need is the audio ,you can flick over to ssb to sort the audio hope this helps you goodluck

Must know the pin out of the transceiver your wiring it too.
like cobras 1.ground 2.audio 3. TX 4. RX... then wire accordingly.(same as the 4 pin exports)..
Use a ohm meter to find the correct wires on your mic switch.
then you know how to wire any mic to any transceiver.
This will work for the turner 2+2
