SOURCE: Maytag washer PAV2300 water over flow

tidalwave If the water continues to flow even when the washer timer and the power to the washer are off then you are right and the water inlet valve has to be replaced. If it does it only when the washer is on then it could be different problems. In that case the first thing you have to check is the water level switch. This is the device which controls the water level. Remove the power first.Open the control panel and you will see the switch on the left side. There is the clear plastic hose connected to the switch. Make sure the hose is not loose. This is one of the most common cause of overflow. If it got loose, drain out all water from the washer before you reconnect the hose. If this is not the issue then you have to check the continuity across the water level switch therminals. When there is no water you should measure the continuity across therminals 11 and 12 (gray and orange wires). Whet the tub has filled up with water you should measure the continuity across therminals 11 and 14 (gray and light blue wires). If the continuity is wrong replace the water level switch. If you are going to do it, make sure there is no water in the tub before you will remove the clear plastic hose from the old switch. Good luck. Gendos. post back...

SOURCE: Maytag washer PAV2300 water over flow

I had the same problem and went out to a website for Maytag washers. That website advised that the problem could be mechanical or electrical. In my case, the problem was a clogged tube and it took only ten or fifteen minutes to fix.
0. Unplug the machine.
1. Open up the front of the washer. Along the left hand side is a long transparent tube. The tube connects to a wallet size container on the side and near the bottom of the tub.
2. Inspect the transparent tube. It may be clogged where the tube meets the wallet sided container.
Note: When the tub is full, it creates pressure in that wallet size compartment which sends air up that tube to a pressure switch located within the panel at the top of the washer. The pressure switch flips and tells the machine - stop filling the tub with water. My machine had a visible clog in the bottom of the tube that carries the air from the bottom of the tub up to the pressure switch.
3. Disconnect the tube and clean. I used a pipecleaner to get most of the mold out. To completely clear the tube, remove the top panel and disconnect the tube from the pressure switch in the top panel and blow air down the tube.
4. Reconnect, test - and you should be good to go. If not, your pressure switch may be dead.

SOURCE: Denon AVR-3805 zone 2 no longer working

If no sound coming through Zone 2, steps that worked are below. Layout: Denon AVR-988 running in 5.1 mode with patio speakers designated as Zone 2: 1) check that patio speaker wires are connected to Denon's back surround speaker terminals, 2) check "Menu then "Manual Setup" and scroll to check that "Amp Assign function is set to "Zone 2". You won't get Zone 2 sound unless this is chosen in this instance. Also check the volume settings in the "Manual Setup" to ensure you haven't turned sound down by -40 DB or limited it. Now try turing on Zone 2 sound either on front panel or on rear of remote. If you still have no sound, what worked for me is there's a Zone 2/Rec Out pushbutton on front left top panel by round input knob. This must be set to "Zone 2 Source" and not "Rec Out Source".to avoid diverting the signal to the Rec Out jacks. Keep turning the input select button until it reads "Zone 2 Source". Then turn on and this should route the signal to your Zone 2 speakers. srhfish

SOURCE: need to wire a zone control for a closed system with a circulator

Tankless water heaters for domestic use fire whenever there is water flow. As long as the pump flow rate exceeds the minimum flow rate of the appliance, the heaters hould fire (the return temperature needs to be less than the set temperature as well). Boiler systems will typically require a thermostatic signal (call for heat) and water flow before they will fire. Tankless heaters are designed for residential use and only require pump flow to fire.

Toro lawn sprinkler system, shut water off went to winterize system hooked compressor to blow out plug turned on first zone, water blew out everything good, went to blow out 4 other zones and nothing

I may suggest your distributor was set to the first zone.
Therefore, neither water nor compressed air will "flow" in any zone except that one.
See if turning on the electric and setting a different zone will accomplish your desired result.
God bless your efforts.

I have a Melnor 3015 aqua timer (2007 model) that leaks. I am fairly certain it is the connection between the solenoid and the valve but I cannot figure out how to open the thing without breaking the

It's made that way. The case is not meant to be opened, it's a sonic weld (melts the plastic together). It's meant to be a disposable device; it breaks throw it away and buy a new one. Also known as planned obsolesce.

Melnor 4 zone aqua timer dosent follow program

Water timers and Melnor timers last a year or two. They come with 1 year warranty for defects in workmanship.
Change batteries, reset timer if there is a reset protocol, buy another timer. Melnor, Orbit, are major brands. Gardena is not supported. Yardworks repackages other brands.

Melnor water timer

Melnor is major water timer company, and not off-brand. However, water timers last a couple years, or less, sometimes they last long time but that is not often.
If not drained completely of water, they will break when water freezes.

Most timers have 1 year limited warranty for defects in workmanship.

How to set time on Yardworks two zone water timer

Copy following link to access manuals for each brand of water timer on market 2013:
Yardworks does not have website, manuals or warranty claim procedure.
Instead, yardworks repackages other brands of timer, generally water timers, such as orbit or melnor and raindrip. And sometimes repackages other brands of outdoor timers.
Recommend folks stay away from timer-repackagers such as Yardworks, Timex, First Alert, and buy brand names that have clear customer resources.

My furnace which is run by oil and is water baseboard is not producing heat to 2 of the 4 zones in my house. I checked the zone valve and that is working okay. I do not believe the pipes are frozen,...

Let's see if we can do some trouble shooting steps:

First-- what temperature is the boiler keeping the water at?
and the circulator pump is running like it should, right?

As the pump runs, do you hear any gurgling sounds?
This indicates possible air int he system---
Have you tried eliminating air from the 2 runs that are cold?
Water can NOT circulate, if a bubble of air traps off the loop--
The water flow stops, even tho the other loops are flowing fine.
There should be an air bleed screw at the high point of each of these loops
(Like possibly-- at the high end of the radiator?-- Often a screw driver slotted screw-- WHen you open it, air and water will come out, until just water--- Then do the other loop-- and come back to the first, -- repeat until yo get NO AIR out of the loop.
You should feel hot water start flowing right away.

Let us know if this helps-- if not we go tothe next steps!

Let us know further,

Need to wire a zone control for a closed system with a circulator

thats because the rinnai does not have a set up for a circulating pump it would make the unit run all the time,, they are not designed to work that way,, you will have to just wait for the hot water to get to the faucet just like before,,don't let any one tell you there is a way once the water flows it turn on the tankless so it would never shut off, you could get on that goes on a timer on say the farthest fauset away from the unit and set the timer to come on like 2 min before you are ready to use the water in that bathroom in the morning or at night other then that there is nothing else you can do
