Printer ready light never comes on but printer works

I've had this fault myself, If memory serves me right the control panel ( small though it is) we found to be the problem, once replaced the unit the displayed correctly, weirdly all functions of the printer were still available even though we were unable to see the display.
we were able to get config pages etc, and like you say the indicator lights were working- sort of - when they wanted to.
replace the diplay PWB ( its small and reasonably cheap)

The ready button does not come on. No water comes

Check the thermostats on top of the boiler for the ready light, or the light itself.
For the coffee, check the screen under the head, remove it and make sure it is clean, if yes then remove the 2 allen wrench screws and check the valve and spring make sure it is not blocked.

Hello,

Please perform the following.

Super NVRAM initialization Turn off the printer.
  1. Press and hold the Go button.
  2. Turn on the printer and continue to hold the Go button for at least 50 seconds. During this process, the Attention , Ready , Go lights turn on. Then the Attention and Ready lights turn off, leaving only the Go light illuminated.
  3. Release the Go button. The Go , Ready and Attention lights turn on.
  4. Press and hold the Go button. All lights turn off. During the next three seconds, the Go , Ready and Attention lights turn on in that order, one per second.
  5. Release the Go button to perform the initialization. The control panel lights begin cycling from front to back. After the Super NVRAM initialization process is complete, the printer returns to the ready state.

PLV-Z1 no longer powering up - Ready light is green and the Lamp light is red

I have a Sanyo XU35. Mine was starting up and showed a picture for about 15 - 30 seconds then shutting down. My lamp warning light was not coming on. When I put it in for repairs it turned out to be the lamp that needed replacing. The technician said it is not uncomman for the lamp to be gone and the lamp warning light not to come on. I got my lamp on e-bay from ping_ngo for a great price.
