Bluetooth is another wireless architecture that is designed for short range wireless communication between 2 devices. To connect to another bluetoth device you must first disconnect from the pevious, as it only handles one connection at a time.
Hi Good day!!! You may need to install the driver of your bluetooth that's why it is unknown device. if you don't have the driver Click here: http://www.billionton.com/english/Default.aspx go to support and then driver download - choose bluetooth and search your bluetooth driver there after that install it, hope this helps you
1) click on My Computer>Control Panel>Bluetooth 2) In the bluetooth properties box there will be a option entitled' make this device' visible, ensure this is checked to make sure your mobile/cell phone is picked up
Normally you setup a passkey or use 0000 or 9999 as a passkey.
The question is, does that pop up when you try to connect a USB device? Do you get that when you try to install the dongle? (That shouldn't happen). If you are trying to connect a PDA or cell phone, you setup the passkey for the connecting device on the computer then type it in to the PDA or mobile phone. If you are trying to connect a bluetooth headset, then you use whatever code is from the manufactorer. Normally this is 0000 or 9999.
The bluetooth adapter will only work with bluetooth devices such as cell phones. Unless you D Link router has a bluetooth transmitter on it but more than likely it has a wireless G transmitter on it.
Does your computer have a wireless G transmitter?
You need to uninstall/re-install the Bluetooth driver. Once the driver is uninstalled, reload the CD first to the computer and once you see a message "No Bluetooth device was detected", all you have to do is click on 'Cancel' and continue the installation. Run through the installation until you finish it.
Restart the computer and plug the GBU211 into the computer while the computer is restarting. This should help you.
