Hi

You do not say which operating system you are using.

A blue screen can have many causes, so you need to undertake an elimination process to identify the cause.

Most importantly, do not repeatedly keep trying to boot if blue screen keeps appearing, as this could lead to hasrdware failure. It is important to identify and fix the fault as soon as possible.

If you read the full error message, there will usually be an indication of the likely cause of the crash as well as some suggested remedies.

Typical causes are:

Conflict with newly installed software
Driver conflict or corruption
Malware infection
Insufficient Hard Drive space
Operating system corruption
Hard Drive fault
Overheating
Memory corruption
Graphics card fault

Each of these will have a different remedy.

Start by studying the error message in more detail, try the suggested remedy options, then post again with more specific information, if necessary.

Hope this helps.

White line down centre of screen advent verona

Those are called "stuck pixels" .
Try this:
1.Turn off your laptop.
2.Get yourself a damp cloth, so that you won't scratch the screen.
3.Apply pressure to the area where the stuck pixel is. Try not to put pressure anywhere else, as this may trigger the creation of more stuck pixels.
4.While applying pressure, turn on your Laptop.
5.Remove pressure and the stuck pixel should be gone.
If the computer is still under warranty, return it for repair. If the warranty is dead, you may wish to try some of the home remedies listed in this article:

Hi...i have a toshiba satallite a135-s4527 that having problems with the screen. bacially, the screen is green at boot-up and once one logs in...the image is not clear - the pixels are wavey and fuzzzy. ...

This problem may not be down to the screen at all, it could be down to the graphics proccesing unit(gpu) over heating, the only way to remedy this is to open the laptop, clean the heat sink compound off the cpu and gpu and apply new also known as thermal compound.
The other possiblity could be the inverter board which comtrols the back light, and signal to the screen, but normally when this problem acurs the screen shows lines or a reddish hew on the screen, not fuzzy. hope this helps

Laptop screen has become very dark

Check the top of the laptop for a limit switch that shuts the backlight off on the screen when you close the lid. It may be stuck.
Use a paperclip or something to move it.
If the switch appears good - the LCD backlight has failed. The remedy, unfortunately, is a new LCD display panel.
