Without knowing the brand or model number, it is hard to answer. I checked orbit and the programing does not allow a and b schedules. the cheapest and easy ist way would be to buy a
Camco plastic garden hose Y valve about $3

My stereo keeps turning off when I listen to a station 101.5 in New Jersey

The only thing that can be is that you have set a timer "sleep" function for that station. I have looked at the manual and it states you can programme a sleep setting for a radio station.
The instructions are on page 12. But I have extracted them below:

1 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

2 Press and hold the CLOCK/TIMER button.

3 Within 10 seconds, press the or button

to select "ONCE" or "DAILY", and press the MEMORY

button. Set the clock to the correct time if "ONCE" or

"DAILY" does not appear.

4 Within 10 seconds, press the or button to select

"ONCE SET" or "DAILY SET", and press the MEMORY

button.

5 To adjust the hour, press the or button and then

press the MEMORY button.

6 To adjust the minutes, press the or button and

then press the MEMORY button.

7 Set the time to fi nish as in steps 5 and 6 above.

8 To select the timer playback source (CD, TUNER, USB,

iPhone/iPod, TAPE or AUDIO IN), press the or

button. Press the MEMORY button.

When you select the tuner, select a station by pressing

the or button, and then press the MEMORY

button. If a station has not been programmed, "NO

PRESET" will be displayed and timer setting will be

canceled.

9 Adjust the volume using the VOLUME control, and then

press the MEMORY button. Do not turn the volume up

too high.

10 Press the ON/STAND-BY button to enter the power

stand-by mode. The "TIMER" indicator lights up and

the unit is ready for timer playback.

11 When the preset time is reached, playback will start.

The volume will increase gradually until it reaches the

preset volume. The "?" or "DAILY" indicator will blink

during timer playback.

12 When the timer end time is reached, the system will

enter the power stand-by mode automatically.

Once timer:

The timer will be canceled.

Daily timer:

The timer operates at the same time every day. It

will continue until the daily timer setting is canceled.
Cancel the daily timer when it is not in use.

How can the orbit mdoel 57894 be progrmed for multiple start times?

The product manual is confusing... how do you set 1-5 am and 2-12 pm and 3-5 pm? The manual says to press program button to choose A B or C programs, but does not give steps for programming or when to press enter to confirm setting... or say which position the dial should be in when programming.

57894 lets you program separately for each station...turn dial to Run Time and use arrow keys to select a station. Press enter or arrow keys to advance to next station.
57894 offers 'select a station', 'pick days of the week or interval between watering for that station', 'duration of watering for that station'. But picking days of the week is not the same as setting exact times 1-5 am and 2-12 pm.
The dial is set to auto for programs to operate..
Don't forget to activate battery located top right on face of timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Orbit-57894.pdf

So the 57894 has more options than a 24-hour analog sprinkler timer that repeats same cycle each day with 14-day-skipper.

"my orbit easy dial 6 station quit working in auto

Does it work manually? If so, which is rare and almost unheard of I would replace the timer. You can't buy a less expensive timer $20 for a 4 station. Which explains why it is not working. If it doesn't work make sure it is plugged in and outlet has power.

I have an orbit 4 station indoor timer. I understand where the solenoid wires go but am a bit confused as to where th pump wires go. Are all the common wires connected to gether and then go into the timer...

Timer is not identified.
Orbit shows five different 4-station timers: Add a comment and say which timer is being used, and what voltage you are using and what wires you have.
http://www.orbitonline.com/support/guides/Manualsearch3.cfm?Brand=02&Type=Timers

Example below:
-Power to operate timer:
The example timer has power cord that plugs into outlet.
Other timers have low voltage transformer that plugs into outlet.

Connecting solenoids.
Each station or solenoid has two wires:
The common wires are connected together so that common connects to each solenoid, and the second wire connects to terminals 1 2 3 4 as shown.

I have a 6 station orbit timer and I have problem with station 2 odd days coming on again after station 4 odd days the time is set to come on at 6 am and run for 60 min an10 min after it shuts off to start...

I am somewhat confused about your station numbers. How many stations do you have? What is Ihappening with stations 1, 3, 5, 6?
Regardless, this is probably what is happening.
No matter how many stations you have, YOU ONLY PUT IN ONE START TIME. That one start time begins the cycle that starts with station 1 and proceeds to the other stations based on your station RUN times.
If you have one start time of 6:00 am, and a run time of 60 minutes for each zone, then
At 6:00 am station 1 starts.
at 7:00, station 1 shuts off & station 2 starts.
at 8:00, station 2 shuts and station 3 starts, etc.
You are not programming the individual start times for each station.
If you put in more than one start time, the timer remembers and will run all stations then go back and begin again and if there is a third start time, it will begin a third time.

Model 57882 9 station timer I did set up station 1 where do I begin in order to set up station 3

Question is not clear.
Do you have programming problem with the timer?
Or problem locating sprinkler heads?
Or a sprinkler valve problem?
Add a comment with detailed information.

Sprinkler timer turns ON-and-OFF.
Timer does not advance the sprinkler to next station. The sprinkler valve advances to next station when timer turns OFF.
For example, when timer turns ON, then station 1 starts watering.
Timer turns off, and then sprinkler valve automatically advances to station 2.
Timer turns on again, and station 2 starts watering.

I ned to reset the time on my orbit 2 station hose water timer and I lost my manuel. Please help.

To reset your timer, you'll need to replace the 3 AA batteries then press the reset button on the back of the housing.
If you'd like to refer to the manual, you can find the manual at orbitonline.com. Just click on the "manual and guides" link under the "Support" heading found on the left hand side of the home page. Enter the model number of your timer "62015" and click the quick search button. Your search will provide a link to the manual in up to 5 different languages in a pdf. file format. Click on the manual of your choice. Once the manual is downloaded (this will take a second or two if you have high speed) onto your computer you can print out the manual for future reference.
Hope this helps.
