I was av1, av2 before but now i can't access my lg 42'' flat screen A2

Hi happy,
This happens quite often due to current leakage from signal box.. Please continue with AV1. But Have your cable box or whatever signal box you are using for any current leakage so that AV1 remains safe. If you lose AV1 too, you may have to replace the main board.

Connect mediacom cable to my apex...all the cables are hooked up correctly but it just says no signal.

What is the mediacom connected to? If the antenna connector, (usually screw-on type F) then set it to TV. Does Mediacom need to have a box between the cable and the TV? Sometimes cable systems do not use standard television signals, and a box is required to display on a TV.
If mediacom has a box, and cables are connected to (commonly red, white, and yellow) RCA connectors, then AV 1 or 2, depending on which connectors you plugged them into on the TV.

How to play a dvd on the samsong? don't know how to connect the red yellow and white wirews?

You just have to match the color of the plug to the color connector on the TV and on the DVD.
Look for something like AV1, or Video 1 on the TV. It should have Yellow jack for the Video, and RED and WHITE jack for the Audio Right and Left channels, same thing applied to the jacks on the DVD player.
The just select AV1 using the remote control, just look for 'INPUT', or 'SOURCE' bottun on the remote.

When I go to input and av1 to play my game it statics it's driving me crazy

RCA connectors are a great little connector. The only real problem with them is they get "tired". Try gently squeezing the tabs around the edge of the connector. This will tighten it a bit. These are the ground connection and the ground is your "reference" for your signal. That should help.

I need the connector cable for a yamaha tcd av1 and need a part number please any help is appreciated

The connector appears to be an 8-pin mini-DIN connector. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini-DIN_connector#8-pin
I got one from an old Apple system, but I haven't been able to get my TCD-AV1 to power on. It may be due to another problem, though. Hope this might help!

When trying to switch from AV1 to AV2 with the

The Red, White & Yellow connectors are your composite inputs usually classed as AV3 or component. The AV1 input is a Scart connection, if you have a scart cable, connect this as your AV source & the TV will switch from AV to component.

How do u turn to scart channel without a remote

Not knowing what model of TV you have, the most common ways are either by using the Source button then scroll to AV1 input or if you have a Menu button there may be a sub-menu for Input, again select AV1 (depending on which AV connector you are linked you maight have to select AV2). If you have a DVD or VCR connected to the AV source, then when pressing play the DVD/Tape should automatically switch over to AV.
