Question about Cell Phones

Open Question

I've reformatted my microSD, and placed the neded files from r4i-SDHC. My problem is simple, I'm annoyed at when in the games section, the image files scroll from the right side to left.

I just want them to not scroll at all when I highlight them, I want them to stay where they are. I believe I've done it before but can remember where. And yes, I'm on curent version. Also, sorry about wrong section. Any Help?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: How do i reformat a sandisk 2GB microSD card. keeps saying failed

Are you formatting it in a cell phone, a digital camera, or on your computer?

If you're formatting on a computer, be sure you have the microcard inserted into the adapter correctly. I would suggest you format the card in the device that you're using it in most.

SOURCE: My R4i suddenly stopped working

The R4i does NOT work on UK (PAL) DSi consoles. I bought an R4i card last week and it will not work regardless of which software kernal is loaded onto it. The website I bought it from have offered to replace it with an Acekard 2i which DOES work with UK DSi's.

SOURCE: r4i cartridge isn't recognize. Can anyone help?

Hey there,

You should check to see the authenticity of your R4i cards. Typically, the red package (R4i-SDHC original) is real, and the R4i Gold version is also an acceptable alternative which is arguably more future proof:

http://www.nds-gear.com/ds-cards/r4i-red/r4i.shtml
http://www.nds-gear.com/ds-cards/r4i-gold/r4igold.shtml

Make sure you have a decent / original R4i card. Differences in manufacturing techniques could simply mean quality control is poor on the cards you bought, which would explain why one works and one doesn't.

If you're looking for a reliable place to buy real DS cards, I'd recommend www.NDS-Gear.com - mainly because they ship by next day worldwide, but also because they test every single card before sending so you don't get a card that doesn't work. You can also e-mail them questions, even before you buy - and they tend to reply within about a day. I've bought mine from there (they are the third store I've tried but I'm sticking with them!) and several more since for friends and family.

Best of luck!

SOURCE: R4i working SLOW on DSi. Loads slow and make save files slow.???

cause DSI is the nintendos attempt to stop R4 card users! see the r4 and GnM cards made nintendo invest in a microsd slot! so try using that card with the dsi instead of the R4 as people now are hacking the micro sd slot to allow any ds rom to be played! faster then th R4 due to the fact that the micro sd is connected right to the motherboard of a ds game slot devices such as R4

R4i sdhc not connecting to computer

try another card reader or plug your current card reader into another USB slot or try to see if it can be read on another computer. Make sure card is correctly seated in the card reader and it is the correct way around.

Tip

How to correctly setup an R4i card version 1.4 (red box)

First, take everything out of the packaging. Turn you computer on and go to your desktop. Then take you MicroSD card out and connect it to/ insert it in the T-flash (the USB port connector), and plug that into you USB port. Wait for the "what do you want to do?" menu to load and click "open folder to view files. After that, go to http://www.ishopvideogame.com/r4i-for-dsi-cid-167.html. Search for your version and download the latest kernel version. ( the kernels are wat say "r4i version 1.4," and etc.) Once you have downladed it, if you do not have an extractor/unzip program go to http://rarlab.com/download.htm and download winrar for you computer. If you already have an unzip/extractor program, use it on the kernel file you just downloaded. You will see a new file appear with the same name. Open the file and drag your mouse over all of the folder's contents, then right click and select 'copy' then paste them into your MicroSD card folder. Thats all you need to do, and for roms you just copy and paste them into the MicroSd card folder. i would suggest making a members account on Romulation.net, a great downloading place for roms.

The problem is that you upgrade the 3DS console before upgrade r4i sdhc. Please following the below steps
1. Download latest r4i 3ds V1.60b firmware from official page http://r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp, and install it to the MicroSD card.2. Find a DS or DSi console, put the R4i SDHC 3DS card with MicroSD into the Ds or DSi console.3. Power on the console to enter the R4i main menu4. Choose the third button and click, you can enter next steps5. Press the "upgrade" button, you will enter the next steps6. Click "start" button to start the upgrade process.7. System date error\r\n

Hi,

This kind of error is caused by a software incompatibility to continue to function when the dates on the Nintendo DS/DSi were set differently than the files on the Micro-SD card. This problem could have arisen when a user transferred a .SAV file from a DS with a different date, or the DS ran out of battery. In most cases, setting the date back a few days temporarily will solve the problem and in some cases up to a month was required!.The software from NDS-Gear, which can be downloaded in R4i Software Downloads page, is a permanent fix to the issue for the R4i SDHC card!
This software will NOT work for FAKE R4i SDHC cards (i.e. the ones from r4isdhc.com as opposed to r4i-sdhc.com).

Thank you !!
