Depends on what you dropped in perhaps a magnet will retrieve it or one of the things mechanics use to fish bolts out of tight holes they have 4 wire fingers to open and grasp items when released

Lg dryer td75125e thermostat tripping

Dryers today have several items installed to prevent fires starting in the wiring or the lint that accumulates.
Some have as many as 6 - 8 different "safety" items.
Dryers today, however, also have some real problems with lint accumulation where you cannot clean it.
Very likely the solution will be a complete teardown of the machine to remove accumulated lint, in the large pipes and nooks and crannies deep inside the machine.
I have had to do several of these, to stop the symptom you are experiencing.
If the dryers is more than 5 years ole, I am not surprised to find a shoe box full of lint trapped inside.
God bless your efforts.

How to Fix Dryer Lint Problems

<span>Instructions</span> Things You'll Need: <ul> <li> <span>Vacuum cleaner</span> </li> <li> <span>Screwdriver</span> </li> <li> <span>Electric leaf blower</span> </li></ul> <ol> <li> Remove the lint trap from the dryer and peel off the accumulated fuzz.<br /> </li> <li> Vacuum the top of the dryer, the floor nearby and underneath for lint at least once a week. When you remove the lint trap, tiny particles fly into the air and settle nearby. Behind and underneath the dryer are favorite hiding places for dryer lint.<br /> </li> <li> Disconnect the vent tube from the rear of the dryer and inspect it every month. Dryer lint accumulates more easily in flexible plastic tubes than rigid aluminum ones, because curves halt the lint's path.<br /> </li> <li> Clean the vent tube leading to the wall annually. As for the tube leading to the exterior, a trick that sometimes works is aiming an electric leaf blower down the tube. The leaf blower can expel the lint through the exhaust on the exterior. Before using the leaf blower, check that all duct work is fastened securely.<br /> </li> <li> Unscrew and remove the back panel on the dryer, if you're mechanically inclined. Particles that escaped the lint trap can accumulate inside the dryer cabinet, so vacuum this area.<br /> </li></ol>

Dropped something down the lint trap

If it's a metal utensil that responds to magnetism, try a magnet on a string, or one of those telescoping magnetic picker-upper tools to get it out.

Noisy dryer after cleaning lint

There is something caught up in the blower wheel. You will need to disassemble the dryer from the front to be able to get to the blower wheel housing to clear what ever you have jammed there and remove it. Everything is done through the front.

Smelled like something burning, then quit working

clean lint trap out more often after every load and try to vacumn inside lint trap lint tends to slip down below the trap and yes it will ignite from time to time My gas dryer did it once and yours it smoked and stunk but because I was home it never went furtherif you open bottom front panel if your machine has one you can get a lot of old lint cleaned out there as well...and most dryers post in their manuals the risk of lint fires

Dryer front load model # GLG22152ESO, Flashes Error Code E9E

Ok, i would also pull the blower assembly and, check it for clog's as well. clean out the entire exhaust hose as well. if this doesn't stop the shut down, you will need to replace the hi limit thermostat and (dryness)sensor(if equipped) as well.

Dropped bleach pen into lint trap. How do I get it out?

its not too hard to get out.
you will need a #2 phillips screwdriver and or a 1/4" socket driver
remove lint trap
remove 2 screws at lint trap
unplug unilt
open the top (2 clips between lid and front panel in the crack, push them with a butter knife or putty knife to release top) opens like a hood
pull out dryer and pull off rear panel
on the left hand side there is a metal duct like thing lol
that leads to the lint trap at the top.
there should be 4 screws at the bottom where it gets round.
remove them, and wiggle the duct open. your pen should be there..

LG WD-12331. Front load washer and dryer machine

since it is a washer-dryer, the lint trap is in line with the drain. you have to empty the drain basket. there's an access door on the bottom left, first take the little tube out and drain the remaining water, then open the large drain cap to the right and clean out the trap. once you're done put it all back together and it should work. you're supposed to do this every few months. It was too much for me to deal with so i ended up buying a separate dryer and just use the washer .
