Question about Home Security
Brand name? Model? Camera types?

There is usually a setting that allows you to set how many, or which ones are viewed on the main screen. Unfortunately, each system is different.
Look at 'View' settings.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Rear view camera setting???
This could be caused by the following:
Purple/white "reverse sensor wire" not connected to vehicles reverse lamp harness. (Are your reverse lamps functioning?)
Reverse cam video out not connected to Kenwood's "rear view camera input" (Yellow RCA socket behind the unit).
The monitor set up controls merely switch R-cam betwen "full, just, zoom and normal" modes. No provision here to ebnable or disable the cam.
When you put your car in reverse dos the monitor screen change?.

SOURCE: DVR camera system help
First, check what ports the DVR system uses, in GeoVision for example is:
80, 3550, 4550, 5550, 6550
You DVR must be with Manual IP
And then, open the router management page and configure NAT settings, so that when someone in the outside network "calls" you ip+port, the router knows to which machine the "call" is...
Also... use some kind of dynamic dns service like DynDns or NO-IP so that people use an regular URL and not a IP address.

on the cameras them self there should be a adress and baud rate setting this should be the same as what you have on the software. also the cable that you have going back to your ethernet panel cannot be by any electric lighting or anything like that and check and make sure that the connetors that plug in to the panel have the right color code. you need to look for the straight through wiring diagram 568b. hope this helps.
