There is Blood on my stools 2 weeks now only a bit of blood and the stools are very lumpy What are my options

You should see your family doctor or general practitioner as soon as possible and that person is the best person to advise you and refer you to specialists and do forth. He will probably want you to have a colonoscopy and a few other tests.

There are a number of reasons for having blood in or on the stool and it is undoubtedly a worrying time.

You can probably find more about this on many websites and ehealth.com undoubtedly has many discussions and further information.

Good luck!

Why is blood in my stool, why?

Please call a doctor NOW. You won't believe this, but if you did not eat red carrots last day, you are bleeding. A doctor should look at you as soon as possible, because it won't stop without help.

Do hot Cheetos cause gastritis?

Yes,Pediatricians across the nation believe that spicy hot Cheetos and other chips are causing plenty of unnecessary emergency room visits. Not only do doctors see kids doubled over with stomach pain after downing several bags of the snacks, but they also see lot of worried parents who believe their child's stool has blood in it, due to the dark orange and red coloring of the snacks.

What does black stool mean?

Generally it indicates old blood but can also be remnants of certain dyes from radiographic studies or medications. Oddly, some ethnic foods your body isn't familiar with may cause this also. It is certainly an issue to ask your physician. It would be a routine visit but if you have bright red blood that is not from a hard stool passage or known hemorrhoid problems you should seek urgent advice/care immediately. Good for you for keeping an eye on things from the nether regions. Most people don't because of the gross factor but hey, you put it in your body you should at least check out what is leaving. With colon cancers on the rise it's important to know what is your normal so if things do change you can be on top of things with early intervention.
