My Xerox 3040 Printer does not print more than three pages at a time even if the command given is of more than three pages and pressing the button it prints the same three pages again What to do.

Hi, you may want to reset/restore the Epson LX300 to default settings. This can be done by pressing down on the FONT button while powering on the printer. If done right the LX300 will print a test page with the firmware version. It is also possible that the drivers are corrupted. In Start, Printers & Faxes, delete the LX300 printer, restart your PC and then re-install via Add Printer. In some cases, defective parallel cable can also cause problems. Unfortunately the only sure way of checking is by replacing the printer/parallel cable with a known good/operation cable. If the printer would really be requiring service, a Service Manual is available at (http://www.eserviceinfo.com/index.php?what=search2&searchstring=DPA-300) Hope this be of some help to you. Normal 0 Could have a corrupt driver.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and when the CD software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Click the Advanced tab
Click Settings under Performance
Click the Data Execution Prevention tab
Make sure Turn on DEP for all programs is NOT checked, check Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs.

whenever i took printout of a multipage file of Powerpoint. Everytime i have to preses the ok button to proceed with the print. because every page an eror comes displaying on screen of printer "UNEXPECTED SIZE IN TRAY 2" when i press the OK button it start printing the page. everytime i have to press the ok button to take print out. For example if i give a print command to a file that is having 15 pages. i have to press 14 times the ok button to complete the printing of 15 pages. pls help me in this

After giving the print to immage runner 400s copier the print sends to the copier. The data button blinks once. but print out automatically cancels. why?


Windows Server 2003/Thin N Computing thin client L300 Printer Epson FX2175 installed with thin client when dos base print command is given 1st page is printed but when 2nd print command is given printer gets offline either switch off printer before giving comman or print from printer properties. Solution : Print the Troubleshooting Print Quality Pages and Make Sure the Colors Are Accurate CAUTION: Use of inks other than Genuine Xerox Solid Ink may affect print quality and printer reliability. It is the only ink designed and manufactured under strict quality controls by Xerox for specific use with this printer. The Xerox Warranty, Service Agreements, and Total Satisfaction Guarantee do not cover damage, malfunction, or degradation of performance caused by use of non-Xerox supplies, or the use of Xerox supplies not specified for this printer.
To print the Troubleshooting Print Quality pages:
  1. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panel to select [Troubleshooting] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
  2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Print Quality Problems], and then press the [OK] button.
  3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Troubleshooting Print Quality Problems], and then press the [OK] button to print the test pages.
  4. Go through the pages and find the Light Stripes Test page.

    For each color, remove an unused solid ink stick from the printer, and then use the ink stick to make a mark of color next to the corresponding color on the printed page. If the colors do not closely match, that color will need to be purged from the print head. Continue with step 6 if the colors do not closely match.
  5. NOTE: If the colors do closely match, the problem is not related to the printer's hardware. There is no hardware adjustment available on the Control Panel for calibrating individual colors.

  6. Create a document consisting of a full page (100% fill) of the color not printing correctly, or download and use one of the resource files provided in the table below. For example, if cyan ink is actually printing black, create a document that is a solid fill of cyan, or download and open the Cyan fill page provided in the table below.

    IMPORTANT: Make sure to set the Print Quality mode in the print driver to "Standard" and the TekColor Correction to "None" before performing the next step. This will allow the job to purge only the problem color. Other settings may cause the printer to use a percentage of the other ink sticks.

  7. Print approximately 50 - 100 pages of the document, as necessary, until the printed color returns to normal.

Xerox printer 8560n won't print


First download and install printer's driver ..click here Select your operating system and language. Next try to print the configuration page ..--> Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panelto select [Printer Setup] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK]button. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select[Configuration Page], and then press the [OK] button to print. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Exit], andthen press the [OK] button to return to the Main Menu.

Have a Xerox Phaser 8560 DN printer when trying to print test page or anything and get: ERROR: rangecheck OFFENDING COMMAND: setpagedevice STACK: -dictionary-


Sounds like a Postscript error. Try resetting the NVRAM. 'Troubleshooting', Service Tools', 'Reset NVRAM'. If that doesn't work, go into diagnostics and clear the PS NVRAM. 'Troubleshooting', 'Service Tools', press and hold 'Up Button' then press 'Down Button'. This takes you into a hidden service menu. From there scroll down to 'Enter Service Diagnostics' and press OK. Printer will turn off and reboot into diagnostics. Scroll down to 'Function' menu and press OK. Now scroll down to 'Clear PS NVRAM' and press OK. Press 'Back' button to return to first menu, scroll up to select 'Return To Customer Mode' and press OK. Don't forget you will lose all printer settings including your IP address. As you cannot print out a configuration page, this will be like setting the printer up from new as you will have no reference to your earlier settings.

Are you able to print Self test page from printer ( standalone ) or able to make a copy ? if you are able to make copy/print self test page from printer, this issue is with Printer Drivers, You can uninstall and reinstall the software ( download the latest software and drivers from HP website )

If you are not able to make copy/print self test page from printer, it is issue with printer/cartridges... you need to re-align the printer

to clean/align cartridge
On Printer Front panel
Press - Setup Button ( press ok)
Press - Tools ( Press Ok )
Press - Clean Cartridges ( Press OK )
And/Or
Press - Align Cartridges ( Press OK )

Xerox Phaser 8560, produces cyan colored streaks whenever this ink is used. No other colors produce streaks.


You are probably using "Media Sciences" ink sticks (Non-Xerox).

This means the printheads jets are clogged, and the printhead needs replacing.

Media Sciences released a defective lot of cyan ink sticks.

They are currently replacing printheads (at their cost) if you call them.
