How are powering these speakers? Iff you are coming of speaker out on amp try turning volume up. Did you wire the speakers on series. If you have a multimeter disconnect speakers and measure resistance. The reading should be 8 ohms on each speaker wiring, if it is 16 then you have the speakers in series and the volume will low. I have a Schwinn Blue Tunes Bike Speaker. It pairs to my Samsung galaxy S4 through Bluetooth with no problem. I am able to control my spotify account with no problem using the device. I am able to play,...

It seems many people use only the term "paired" when talking about CONNECTING two Bluetooth devices. Connecting two Bluetooth devices means first "pairing" them and then "connecting" them. Pairing is a one time process done only the first time you try to connect the devices. It is like the two devices getting to know about each other. Next step is to actually connect the two and this process is done the first time after the pairing and then every time you want to use the speaker from your phone. When you open the Bluetooth tab on your phone's Settings menu you will see the names of all the Bluetooth devices it has been paired with previously and a "Paired" word next to it. If you want to use the device/speaker, tap on the name and it will CONNECT to it. You will see the word "Connected" instead of "Paired". Now you should have the music that you play on the phone coming out through the speaker. If you still can't hear the music over the speaker after a successful connection, turn up the volume on your phone (and on your speaker, if it has its own volume controls).

Volume stuck on mute for wireless speakers

After pairing it, have you tried to go to your sound settings in Control Panel and selecting the bluetooth device as your standard sound device?

Trying to hook up a velodyne dd 12 sub to the unit. Please direct me to the correct way to do this

I have the same setup. Use 1 pair (Left/Right) RCA to RCA cable. Connect from Velodyne "Input" (left connectors) to Yamaha SubWoofer #1 Preamp output. Make sure you have the sub's volume (left knob from back) very low (full counter clockwise is "Min") until you are setting up the audio balance in your house/room. Set Low Pass cross over to 80Hz, Phase switch to 0, subsonic to 20Hz, X-over to "IN", Power to "auto"
On Yamaha RXV1 remote control, go into speaker setup and turn on Sub and any other speakers you have connected.
Warning!! do not turn up volume near a china cabinet while you are watching a movie. Everything will walk off the shelf.

I wish to control volume on 4 pairs of speaks at 4 different locations please

What you will need is an autoformer based speaker selector with volume control for 4 speaker pairs. This will take the left and right speaker wire out from your amplifier and distribute it to 4 pairs of speakers. Each pair of speakers gets it own volume control so you can control each room sound independently. It will also do speaker impedance matching so that your amplifier is not being over driven by the 4 pairs of speakers. The manual for the product you purchase will aid you in the proper settings of the auto former control. You can find this product from companies like Russound or Niles.

Speaker volume is not audible

if the speaker system is set up right , then it could be a problem with your audio def`s go to either (if your using windows) volume controll panel , or realtek controll panel and make sure its all set right .
to make sure your speakers are ok , just plug them to an mp3 player or something and see if everything is cool.
good luck!

Insignia NS-PDVD10 Speaker Volume Control

The volume control is on the right side of the player, closest to the front. A copy owner's manual can be downloaded here; select the Support tab. I hope this helps!

spray some tuner cleaner in the volume and rf gain pots and work them back and forth. Have you tried an external speaker to see if stock speaker is blown? Also improperly installed talk back can cause this
