It may not be the switch, but rather that the motors need adjusting. If the slow motor is too tight against the rubber wheel on the fast motor, it may not disengage the slow motor when switched, thereby dragging down the fast motor.

Hammond sk1 foot switch is set to toggle Leslie effect between fast and slow. How do I change it to act as damper sustain pedal or other function such as glide?

Thre is a sustain pedal jack next to the foot switch jack. The pedals used are different. The foot switch is a latching switch, the sustain pedal is a momentary.

Like all the past answers, make sure everything is clean and lubricated expecially on the Lesley if it's a motorized rotating speaker, the slow blow fuse is telling you there is a problem ?

Owner Manual

This is all I can find (at least for now), but it might be helpful. The manual is not free (at $12), but I'd ask a few questions of the seller to make sure this manual is really what you need:

I have a Hammond XK1, I plug it in and everything is fine. Once I turn on the recessed ceiling lights with the three rotrary dimmer switches, I get a loud scratchy/hummming line noise through the amp,that...

It is probably so kind of interference from the rotary switches. It is in the shielding of the Hammond organ. You might try some aluminum foil around the unit certain areas at a time which will give you an idea if it will help and what areas need to be shielded. If that does the trick you install the aluminum foil shield inside the chassis. Hope that helps. Let me know..

Need a manual for old hammond organ model 122126 romance model or 1977 or 1978

You might try the as there are a lot of organ players there and quite a few with Hammonds. Finding an original copy is probably out of the question, but a duplication probably can be found.

Hammond M-100 organ will not start anymore

It is LIKELY that the lube (hopefully Hammond oil) has not been effective.

The principle is that the start motor needs to spin the generator ABOVE the operating speed and then it coasts down and locks in the syncronous motor when start is released. Hold the start up and wait to sense if a note is ABOVE pitch indicating the gen is spinning fast enough. (Have to wait for the amp to warm up).

You MAY have to use another method to get the oil to the bearings... have to oil them directely...

User's manual for the Lowrey Organ Holiday Deluxe w/Magic Genie?

Here is a site to download manual:

A Leslie is special speaker system that is spun to break up the sound so it doesn't seem to come from a single point.

Sometimes the Leslie speaker is in a seperate cabinet fromthe organ, and SOMETIMES it is a simulated Leslie that is done with multiple speakers and electronic switching. If the Leslie is an external one, it usually attaches via a cable that often has either 9, 11, or 13 pins.
