SOURCE: Maintenance

Hero Honda Passion is a four stroke engine with Japanese technology. Usually this bike gives good mileage and apart from this the engine is very smooth with small valves which take part in combustion. Service after every 4000Kms is compulsory and at the time of servicing the engine it has to be tuned.Apart from such services personally you have to do this services : 1) Weekly water service using shampoo. 2) Check the battery terminals every week and clean them with warm water. 3)Use shining cloth for cleaning the painiting surfaces. 4)Check the blow as per the requirement (Every week). 5)Check the break linings every two months. 6) Cover the vehicle when not is use to protect from dust,

SOURCE: 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS ,supercharger maintenance 2.0L five spee

I use 5W30 Mobile 1 synthetic-5 quarts.

The air filter change is a real pain.
Remove driver side tire.
Remove driver side wheel well.
You will see the filter canister in the front of the wheel well.

I had a mechanic do it for me and it took him 1.5 hours. If you plan to do it yourself, be sure you have plenty of time and alot of patience.

SOURCE: what oil grade do I use in my 20hp huskavarna riding mower

use a good grade of automotive engine oil which is called 10w30 weight.

measure the amount of oil that you drain out so you will know approximately how much new oil to put in. then check your dip stick and adjust to get the exact amount of oil.

I have an older 20hp riding lawnmower that someone else operated last year, thus I know nothing about. I can't get it to start, not sure I am even doing everything I need to to get it started. Could you...

Hello Ruthie, W/D here.
Push the throttle lever 100% forward, to the choke position. This will cause more gasoline to be pulled into the carburetor, making the engine easier to start. As soon as the engine starts, move the lever back towards you, to about 75%, and the engine will smooth out. Adjust the throttle from there to cut grass.
Oil in your engine is it's life blood, and should be changed after about 25 hours of operation. When you get your free manual (below), it may say different, so use 25 hours as a guideline for now. If you don't know when the oil was last changed, change it now. It is some of the cheapest insurance that you can buy. If your engine is equipped with a filter, change it at the same time. If your axles are equipped with grease fittings, by all means give them a shot of grease. Same goes for the spindles that turn the blades. These can be seen under the mower, on the top of the mower deck. You should look at your belts from time to time. Belts stretch out, and they can crack, making them less efficient, or cause them to slip, and have to be replaced from time to time.
You can get a free downloadable manual from searspartsdirect.com. You will need to enter your make and model number, and this site will give you parts lists with prices, exploded diagrams, and (usually) links to manuals.
Here's hoping that this helps get you mowing, and to maintain your mower. The throttle position is the most important part of getting started, but check the oil first. The grease fittings can be checked at your leisure, unless you start hearing the fittings making noise.
Best regards, --W/D--

Riding mower stalls when blades are engaged

If you bought this mower used and did not change the oil and air fillter or even looked too see what the oil and air filter looked like that could be part of your problem what ever you do when you buy a used mower always change the oil and air filter make sure you are lubed up good and the mower can breath then go from there to your spark plug if it is a used mower change it is better safe then sorry got to keep that sparky sparking. Then if the problem continues think could the lever for lowering and raising the blades sliping and causing the blades to get to close to the ground if not. After all of this it would be a good time to call you nearest pro for some advice not to fix it because if they are anything like the ones around where I live they will try to help you figure out what it is just by what you tell them over the phone before they will want to see it and charge you anything.Good luck.

I looked at the IPL on precisionope.com. It does not look like Troybilt breaks down the pulley into separate components. You may have to find an older hardware store, mom and pop type, to find this retainer, or a michine shop to make you one.

They usually put spring washers in there to keep things tight.
Try some good penetrating oil on the pivot bolt.
Last resort--loosen the bolt, use oil on it, retighten.
