SOURCE: what is the process
There is a lever on the handle, you have to pull it up and rotate it counter clockwise about 3 times (shouldn't take any more than that. The blade will be loose now,put in the new blade and turn the back lever clockwise until it clicks. The blade should be tight,push the lever down and move it into the slot in the handle.

I just bought a used one and faced the same problem. What I found in there is a set screw at the bottom of the long shaft. I used a long narrow flat head screw driver. It worked good, but I did have to acuate the trigger to get it the blade near the top of the stroke

lift knob on top twist 3 times anti clockwise remove blade by twisting it 90 deg insert new blade turn 90 deg,turn knob on top clockwise until it clicks press down and you are ready to go
