Question about Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ80U Plasma TV
TV powers up, but within seconds shuts down, and the red light that signals "power on" blinks every few seconds. The picture never returns. Does this every time I try to power up. Any advice?
These TV's are somewhat sensitive to internal heat. It appears your sensor has triggered an overheat. This doesnt mean you still have the heat issue, it just saying it needs to be replaced or reset, either way it is not something you can do in your home. Taking it to your local authorized shop will ensure proper repairs, about $90 worth.
