How do I get my internal memory pictures out of camera. I forgot to put the memory card into the camera,

Take the external SD card out of the camera if it is attached.
Connect the camera to a PC (I use Windows 7).
the camera should auto detect and your in-memory pictures should be available in Windows explorer -> My Computer -> P100 -> DCIM folder.

Hope this helps.

When i download my video and play it back the picture quality is okay but it plays back very choppy

That is a graphics card/processor problem on your pc rather than a problem with the camera. If you record in high def you'll need a pc with a decent processor, plenty of ram & decent graphics card to get decent playback. Try selecting 'view half size' in whatever you are using to watch the videos.

On some cameras, once you use the internal memory, you must format it and completely erase it before a regular memory card will work. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions. Then, never use the internal memory again.

First of all, forget about using the built-in memory...it's very small. Does your camera work properly when a memory card is inserted? You could also go into the setup menu to "reset". That would set your camera back to factory defaults.

Internal memory full - how do I find it? Ann

If you do not have a memory card inserted, the camera defaults to the internal memory, both in shooting and playback modes. You can transfer from internal to a card using the "copy" function from the playback menu. The internal memory can be erased from the playback menu using the format function in the "setup" menu. Don't erase (format) until you are sure the images are stored safely elsewhere.

I do not know how to get pictures from internal memory to my computer.

Okay, this is straight from the manual AND I tried it and it worked:

Press Play/playback to view pics.
Press Menu. Under playback menu, scroll down to COPY. Hit OK. Press OK for or scroll to & then hit OK for "Internal Memory -> Card" and press OK. Press Frame or All Frames. Press OK. Done! :)

Tansfer images from internal memory

Check the device menues for tools that allow you to copy from one store to the other.
Otherwise, you might be able to copy from the device to your PC and back to the card, if you have a card reader or if the device allows you to write to it as a mounted volume.
Good luck.

Playing MPEG's

* The MPEG Playback function works in M. PLAY mode only. * You can play moving picture images on the Memory Card. * To hear sound during MPEG4 playback, you must hook up to a PC and listen to the PC's speaker. (You cannot hear it from the speaker on the camcorder or a TV) 1. Set the mode switch to MEMORY CARD position. 2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode. 3. Press the MENU button and turn the MENU DIAL to highlight MEMORY. 4. Press the ENTER button to enter sub-menu. 5. Use the MENU DIAL to select MPEG4 from the sub-menu. (M. PLAY SELECT) 6. To exit the menu, push the MENU button. 7. Using the (FWD) and (REV) buttons, search for the moving picture that you want to playback. 8. Press the PLAY/STILL button. The moving pictures recorded on the MEMORY CARD begin playing back.
