Question about Sony Televison & Video
You have a Sony Trinitron what? TV? Computer monitor? Is there a model number? Have you tried leaving it off until it's room temperature again? If it starts up then, but not when it's warm, it's probably an ESR (Equivalent Series Resistance) failure on an electrolytic capacitor in the power supply. I've seen that lots of times.
