SOURCE: f4 error code

Ok, test the element for its operational value. if the element is not getting a signal to warm from the control board, this will be the issue, considering that the element is new and able to warm. replace the Oven control in this case.

JUst to be safe, back track the installation to make sure every connection was properly united. make sure the element was installed correctly. if so, replace the control.

SOURCE: 700 series Bosch double convection ovens -

The good sign is that the motor works fine as do heaters. If the operator interface acknowledges feature selection by beeping or what have you, we can safely say the problem lies with the control board or relay.

SOURCE: I have a Bosch built-in

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa,

I'm looking at the diagram for your oven and I do not see a P17 connection, however you said it is a connection on a relay. Can you identify which relay it is connecting to i.e. K5, K3, K7 or K8 ?

K5 is the bake element or "DE" ( down ele. )
K3 is the convection element or "RE" ( ring ele. )
K7 is the inner broil element or "RE" ( internal up ele. )
K8 is the outer broil element or "EUE" ( external up ele. )

I should be able to help move you forward in this regard if you can clarify this matter. I'll watch for your reply.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

A F04 Err is flashing on my Bosch double oven. Please can you tell me what this means?

The only F04 error on a Bosch oven is with the Bosch 5000 Series wall oven. On this model, the problem is with the door latch. Unplug (or turn off at the circuit breaker) the oven. Turn it back on after a few seconds. When the power comes on, the oven should do a self-test of the lock mechanism. If the error persists, you'll need to do some diagnostics to determine if the lock is faulty. The problem could also be with the wiring or the control board didn't register the correct signal from the lock sensor.

Please add a comment with the model number of the wall oven for more assistance and any possible parts lists. You may want to call for service if you aren't comfortable doing this work. You probably need to get the oven out of the wall cavity for some of the diagnostics.

I hope this helps.

Bosch oven error code F43; breaker reset doesn't work. Door ok (though it locked while using broiler). Beeps continuously. Worth fixing? OK to use gas burners without power? Smells very gassy.

Don't use any appliance that smells of gas or partially burnt gas. Time for a new one or a professional Bosch service engineer. Your call?

Here is the Error Code

F43Upper (or single) oven motorized latch will not lock; defective or jammed upper (or single) oven door or latch switches; defective latch motor or its wiring.
  1. Check P24 connector on the power board.
  2. Ensure door latch switches are operating properly.
  3. Check that neither latch switch nor common wires are pinched to the appliance chassis.
  4. Check P10 connector and check if latch motor wire is pinched to the appliance chassis.
  5. If F43 persists, replace power board.

Thermador oven sc272t f-c code I have a F-C code on the oven and it beeps continunually. Do I need to call a repairman?

Hello, welcome to FixYa.
Based on your post I understand you have an error "FC" on your Thermador SC272 wall oven, correct ?

There are two common scenarios with these Thermador wall ovens fitting what you've described. Either the lower oven control board has failed or there is a communication error between the control board and the display.

Here is an exert from my Thermador service documents explaining in their terms...(hopefully it won't get partially cut-off when I click "submit" as it sometimes does with attachments, that's out of my control unfortunately).
macmarkus_1082.jpg

In either scenario I'd suggest calling in an authorized B/S/H/ (Thermador/Bosch/Gaggenau) service technician since it is pretty involved to trace and possibly replace (hopefully not) any failed/faulty component on these units.

Hope this helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further and good luck.

Macmarkus :)

Hello,

What this simply indicate from the statement you have posted to me is that the the oven has develop a wiring problem on the control unit(panel).

What you are to solve the problem , first of all put of the oven from the main power power supply(i.e from the wall) remove the plug from the wall for some time then put it on again, after this then make sure that the oven is reprogram from the timing and also from the and hold on to clear or council for some seconds to allow the button to respond to power control.

Good luck and thanks for you fixya.

My kenmore electronic stove is having a beep with code F1 on the

Please use the chart to determine which stove you have. You will have to look at the model number. The first 3 numbers will be the series on the chart. In most cases an F1 error would require replacment of the electronic control. This part is commonly refered to as an EOC or ERC. However this type of repair is usually reserved for repair specialists.

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes – 362 Series (General Electric)
F1 = Stuck Touch Pad Key - Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 911 Series (General Electric/Roper)
F0-F1-FF = Failed transistor in Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE Range/Stove/Oven Fault Codes- 665 Series (Whirlpool)
F1-E0 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E1 EPROM Error - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E2 U/L ERC Errors - Electronic Range Control (ERC).
F1-E3 Fuel Type Fail

Kill power 30 seconds-Cancel-Start/Enter-5 seconds-Should see “E” for electric-
“9” for gas-If code changes again-replace Electronic Range Control (ERC).

KENMORE - 790 Series Electronic Oven Control (Frigidaire)
F1 = Shorted Touch Pad = Electronic Range Control (EOC) Internal checksum error.
Runaway Temp = Replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).

Kill power 30 seconds - if error returns - replace Electronic Oven Control (EOC).
