Rice is not ever a good option. Given the amount of time that has passed, the water is gone and corrosion has set in. When something battery or electrical gets wet, you need to remove the power immediately. Then work on drying it out.

SOURCE: The rice dries out in the "keep warm" mode

You have a strange problem. I use my rice cooker often and the only thing that I can think of that may be casing your problem is if the steam vent is clogged. A clogged vent would cause the steam to condense and run to the bottom.

With the machine empty of food, you could try pouring hot water through the vent to see if this clears any clogs. If it does not, it could be other problems that I can tell you will cost more money to fix than to replace with a new Rice cooker.

Good Luck.

SOURCE: my bose soundlink speaker is

The issue is that the Bose only one blue-tooth frequency ..and if you use it with your airport express it can not work with he speakers too ...Use either one of them at once ..probably the issue is it skips out of pairing with the speakers when you connect the airport ...so ..you will have to use cable for one of them ..
To pair the speakers again use the button for pairing ..Play the home theater..and press that pairing button ..and it will find the frequency ..
The idea is that you can not use them both ..It is possible though to have them already paired ..and be able to switch between them ...The frequency is the same all the time ..and once found in the bose theater..just reconnect each time ...same in the airport express..Just press the button on the speakers to allow to be found..and search from the unit..

SOURCE: my bose soundlink air does not respond to all commands on remote

Have that remote tested---I have and most shops have a tester---point remote at the tester and press any or all buttons and the tester reacts or not. Most common cause if only certain buttons do not work is liquid got inside.

Many digital cameras are able in a extremely dark room to respond in the same way when the remote is pointed at them and buttons pressed with a faint flash on the camera display screen---a go or no go test for every button.

SOURCE: Problem getting my bose soundlink to play blue tooth audio from my laptop.

Hi Sirtuan.

Go to the system panel, there choose "sound" . a list with all available sound devices appear. search for your bose soundlink and make it your "standard device".
had the same prob. with my BT headset and this works for me.

if your bose get disconnected the sound should automatically switch to pc speakers.

I dropped the speaker in water yesterday. I turned it off & attemped to dry out now it won't charge.

You toasted your battery. Unfortunately, you are more than likely out of luck as water damage is not covered under the Bose warranty.

The next time, hopefully never again, you drop an electronic device in the water, DO NOT TURN IT ON! Remove the battery and let dry for 48 hours, with all possible covers removed.

Blue tooth speaker wont turn back on.

Unable to connect to a device?

Before attempting any of the following steps, make sure that you are running the latest software version on your SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker. Click here to visit the software update center and update your speaker. If you are still having difficulty connecting to a device after updating the software, continue to the troubleshooting steps.

Unable to connect with a previously paired device?

Please try the following to resolve this issue:
Perform a product resetTo perform a SoundLink speaker reset, following these steps:
  1. On the speaker, press and hold Mute for 10 seconds, the LEDs will flash briefly
  2. Press Power to turn the SoundLink speaker back on
Clear the pairing list on both the SoundLink Wireless Mobile speaker and the source
  1. On the SoundLink speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button for approximately 10 seconds until you hear a tone. The SoundLink speaker clears all Bluetooth devices from its memory and becomes discoverable
  2. Clear the list on your Bluetooth device. For more information, please refer to the manufacturer of the device
  3. Perform a product reset. On the speaker, press and hold Mute for 10 seconds, the LEDs will flash briefly. Press Power to turn the SoundLink speaker back on
  4. Try pairing the device again by following these steps:
    1. With the Bluetooth device and the SoundLink speaker both turned on, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker for three seconds to make the speaker discoverable. The Bluetooth indicator will slowly fade on and off approximately once every second to show the speaker is in discoverable mode
    2. Set your Bluetooth device to "Discoverable." This will allow your device to discover the SoundLink speaker
    3. On your device, locate the Bluetooth device list. Select "Bose SoundLink" from the list
    4. If your device asks for a passkey, enter digits 0000 and press OK. Some devices also ask you to accept the connection. Your Bluetooth device indicates when pairing is complete. The SoundLink speaker indicates pairing is complete when the Bluetooth indicator stops fading on and off and remains on
Be sure the SoundLink speaker is within 30 feet of the Bluetooth deviceThe system is designed to operate at a range of 30 feet. However, performance can be diminished by obstacles such as walls or metal, and may also be affected by other Bluetooth devices. Try moving the SoundLink speaker closer to the Bluetooth device.
Be sure the source's Bluetooth function is OnMany Bluetooth enabled devices have an option where the Bluetooth feature can be turned On or Off. This option may be set to Off to save the battery life of the device. Be sure this option is set to On. If the Bose product is paired to the Bluetooth enabled device, it should automatically reconnect when its Bluetooth function is turned on. If the Bose product doesn't automatically reconnect, manually select the Bose product within the Bluetooth list on the device.
Manually connect the SoundLink speaker in the device listSome devices will pair to a device but not automatically connect. Go to the pairing list of the device and check if this is the case. If it is, try connecting to the SoundLink speaker.
