Onan 5000 has 2 bl 2 white wires 1 gr to junc box. Each meters 57 v. MotorH wire to Jbox same. Meter at trans switch shows only 57 v ea bl n wh paired at Jbox should all bl n wh b paired together

When I meter each I get 57 v from each pair. I assumed they must join somewhere in the cabin to give me the 110 v total however when metering at the transfer switch in the cabin I only get 57v. Should I join all four blacks together and then all whites

SOURCE: CP 302 wlder

Trigger the wirefeeder while listening for the contactor on the CP302 to close, if it does start looking for loose, bad or missing ground connections to the work, then look for the power connection from the CP302 to the wirefeeder to be bad. If the CP302 contactor doesn't close look at the control cable between the wirefeeder and the CP302, try a different one if possible. If you hear the contactor close, and everything else is good, check the voltage at the CP302 output terminals to see if you may have a bad contactor.

WoW ! Simply remarkable!
I called the company that bought-out BGW in 2003.
"American Amplifiers Inc." California
I talked to Angie who was the best ! she transfered me over to
the Master Tech/Engineer (Larry)
I explained to Larry my problem. He pulled the schematics and we
inspected EACH input /output off the binding posts / large transformer.
21 in all 7 on each side and 7 on top. Larry asked me to identify each colored
wire attached. He discovered the wireing was all backwards and NOT
where they were supposed to be! Disaster in the making! We literally
rewired the hole power grid over my cell phone ! (1 HOUR), double and triple checked each
imput. The subs are back up and thumping hard. (they would be dead without AAI)
Phone: 323-278-0001- ANGIE / LARRY YU D BEST !

SOURCE: do not know where to connect hour meter wire to the spark plug

One wire is the flexible silicone rubber wire from the spark plug to the ignition coil. You don't have to strip or connect the other wire, just wrap it around the spark plug wire a few turns. The current from the spark ignition will induce a signal into the hour meter that the meter uses to determine when the motor is on or off. I hope this helps and good luck.1b05a64.jpg

Un plugged the wires from the switch and do not remember how it was wired up. I have three white wires and one black. One white and black wire is coming from the power cord the other two white wires are...

Mmmm... that's a little more complicated. If you have a continuity / resistance meter, we can noodle it out, though.

First, are the two white wires the ONLY wires coming from the motor? I suspect they are - that's not in conformance with any accepted color code, but it'll work. For the rest of this, I'll assume that the two white wires are the only ones from the motor.

You'll need to meter the switch itself, with no wires connected to it. In the OFF position, you shouldn't find continuity between any of the four switch contacts. In the ON position, you should find continuity between two pairs of contacts.

The black wire from the power cord should go to ONE of the two switch contacts in a pair that have continuity with the switch turned ON. One (either) of the white wires from the motor should go to the other switch contact IN THAT PAIR.

That leaves you with one more pair that has continuity with the switch turned ON. The white wire from the power cord goes to one of those, and the second white wire from the motor goes to the other one.

When you have it all wired up, plug it in & turn it on. If it's not right, it should immediately pop your circuit breaker. If it IS right, it should run fine.

If it pops your circuit breaker, open it back up and swap one wire from the power cord and one wire from the motor.

4 wiring device

if you can see which pair of black and white wires belong to eachother it will make things much easier. take a volt meter and test which black wire is the one coming from the breaker box. the white wire that is paired up with the black are the feeding wires to that outlet box those wires will go on the "LINE" side of the GFCI receptacle. The other black and white wires go to the "LOAD" side. (silver screw for white and brass screw for black) the two copper wires should be connected to the back of the outlet box and if so, take one of the wires and also connect it to the green ground screw on the GFCI plug. if they are not connected to the outlet box, be sure to connect them securely

Need manual for wiring phones

The 612 system required 3 pairs per phone. Every 3 pairs on the 25 pair cable would be one station. A modern 6 conductor jack would be wired according to the label. If you have jacks with Green,Red,Black,Yellow,White, and Blue wires, then it's wired as follows.
W/Bl - Green
Bl/W - Red
W/Or - Black
Or/W - Yellow
W/Gr - White
Gr/W - Blue

Describe your how to install a ipp15-1l Problem

1) First of all you need to determine what device you are replacing. Single-pole or 3-way.
Add a comment any time

Remember you can also take advantage of fixya phone service, where expert speaks to you over the phone while you are installing device. This service is not free.

2) If you are replacing single-pole switch, that is where one switch controls the Load (light fan motor)
Here are instructions for installing ipp15-11 Motion switch for single-pole replacement.
Old switch has 2 insulated wires plus bare ground wire.
Ipp15 bare copper ground wire will connect to bare copper ground wire.

Separate switch wires for testing.
Use ordinary two prong tester, tape tester leads to wood sticks to keep hands away from power.
Turn power ON.
Test each wire to bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on Hot wire. This wire will connect to ipp15 screw marked BL black.
The other wire that came off switch will connect to ipp15 screw marked RD red
Hot wire is identified.
Located in back of box are white wires that are twisted together and covered with wire nut. Remove this nut.
Now test Hot wire to all other wires in box, excluding bare ground wire.
Tester lights up on neutral wires. ipp15 screw marked WH white connects to neutral wires.
If your box does not have neutral wire, then connect ipp15 WH white to bare ground wires.

4) If you are replacing 3-way switch, that is where 2 different switches control the same Load (light fan motor.
3-way switch has 3 insulated wires and a bare ground wire.
Note screw colors on old 3-way switch. Dark screw is the Load wire. The 2 brass screws are the travelers.
From the ipp15 instructions, it appears you will need Viza Coordinating Switch Remote plus a sensor device to accomplish the 3-way installation.
If you have both of these devices and want free written instructions, then add a comment and I will verbalize contents from the manual.
Also you can pay a fixya expert to talk over the phone.

hi my name is mark, you need to check local electrical code before wiring cooktop. if it is allowed the white and ground/copper can be tied together with green from house. but if not allowed you will have to run a seperate white wire or new 8ga 3 wire/ with ground from breaker box. check the code first. and shut off power before you wire cooktop. thanks for your question.
