Question about Samsung Cameras
I bought a portable camera lens from shoppingbag.pk for my Samsung mobile. Even if I am using the additional lens the mobile camera is not fixing the focus and the picture become blur while zooming. How can I fix the issue?
Hello Guys, I've try this problem previously and here are some of tips that might helpful:
-Clear Camera cache and data
Here's how you do it...
From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
Tap Settings and scroll to 'Applications' section.
Touch Application Manager.
Swipe left or right to display contents of 'ALL' tab.
Scroll to and tap on the Camera.
Tap Force close button.
Tap the Clear cache button.
Tap the Clear data button, then OK.
Noted: Don't worry, none of your pictures or videos will be deleted, however, all your settings with the camera will be reset to default.
IF PROBLEMS STILL OCCUR, THE BEST WAY IS TO DO MASTER RESET:
NOTED: Make sure you make a backup of files you don't want to lose during the problem. Remember, all your settings, information, apps and files saved in the phone's internal memory will be gone. If the reset failed, then the phone has to be checked by a technician as it is a possible hardware issue.
Thanks for reading hope it would help.

SOURCE: zoom lens won't retract
Usually down to the lens block assy being faulty. Is the lens retracting and opening properly?.It usually turns out to be worn gears in the lens drive assy or the result of a fall.Either way will be expensive repair! My advise is check and see whether camera is covered by insurance for accidental knocks.,

SOURCE: Black spot on picture
My Nikon was having the same problem with the stationary black spot. I used a can of Dust Off ( the original compressed gas duster). I just removed the lens and held the camera upside down (lens facing the floor) and blew my compressed air inside and my black spot disappeared. Just a thought you might like to know !! Good luck.

Here is a quick fix to try. If you attempted to remove the focus error doing the 3 times on and off, and it didnb't help to this. Power the camera on, you will hear the gear skipping as if it is slipping. Right at the moment you turn of the camera push the lens in manually slightly and gently. This will reposition the timing of the lens to focus. This usually fixes the Focus error when the lens is stuck in the out position and never retracts. I have had this happen twice, and it cleared both times by doing this. Good Luck

SOURCE: vibration problem
Sony has recently discovered that with certain units of its "Cyber-shot" DSC-T20 digital still camera, a symptom may arise in which the camera body may vibrate when it is powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens, and it prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.
To ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will provide a free repair service when this symptom occurs within certain units covered by the serial numbers indicated in the serial number validation box below.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Your understanding and cooperation would be much appreciated.

The best chance to use your SD1000 is to set to picture, push ISO (on top of the func. set ring) and set to hi. This works pretty well. Do not bother sending any camera to Canon, they charge the "standard charge" plus for all their manufacturing problems on all Canon cameras. Definately the worst customer service on the market.
