Question about Palm Computers & Internet

Open Question

As Handango now no longer exists, how do I get the registration codes for software on my Palm TX ?

Having started using my Palm TX again, I have a couple of Handango apps that I originally downloaded as trial versions. And now the trial period has obviously expired, and I cannot use them. Is there any way of obtaining registration codes for these apps at this late date?

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

SOURCE: free vedeo player

I love TCPMP. It plays anything I could through at it. Go to and download click the link. You will also need the additional plugins. I recommend at least ffmpeg (video decoder for just about everything).
The project has been discontinued and will be rereleased as BetaPlayer, but there isn't much information about that project yet. But for now, TCPMP is the best solution on the Palm TX.

Can't pull up information from SD Card to my Palm TX

Was the card formatted? The TX doesn't come with a built-in file viewing or file management application for SD cards. Depending on the type of files, you should be able to view those files (or lists of them) with the application that is appropriate to those files...i.e. Documents with Documents To Go, music with PocketTunes, etc. Also, some applications will look for files in particular folders. Music files should be in the /audio folder, for example. When you format the card in the Palm using the Card Info application, it creates these folders automatically. But, you want to be able to view the files with something like a Windows Explorer app, right? The free answer is something called FileZ. Google the name and you'll find it...maybe at or other sites. It does the job and it's free. But for something that's really the cat's meow in Palm file viewers, check out Resco Explorer. It does much more, including a .zip application, and other things. But it's not free. Check it out at or

Having loaded Ooutlook 2007 and the latest updates for my Plam Tx I am no longer able to sync my calendar.

If you use Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 on Windows XP or Windows Vista, you'll need this update to perform Sync operations with Outlook's Calendar, Contacts, Tasks and Notes, as well as optional non-wireless Email sync.
Here's the link for the update first detach your palm from pc then just click, download update and restart your pc

Tx will no longer sync with outlook 2003 or outlook 2007 calendars. Software reinstalled, tx reset, latest updates for syncing with outlook 03 and outlook 07 loaded, still won't sync to outlook calendar...

I would recommend contact the palm free chat. Here is a link for that. I have a TX and have used the chat feature myself and always with good results. Scroll to the bottom of the page and then you will see Palm chat. From there click on chat now and follow the directions. Best wishes.

Palm TX not powering up

Your Palm will auto-off after 30 seconds to 3 minutes of not using it, depending on the auto-off setting. If that's not it, you may have conflicting software installed. I had a lot of software installed on mine before and it got to where it wouldn't come on. I had to do a hard reset by holding the power button in while pressing the reset button until the screen comes on. This restores the device back to original state. You will have to reinstall all additional software that you want to add, but it will take care of the conflict. If that doesn't work, then the battery is probably no good, or the device is no longer functional. Hope this helps.

Cannot print images from Palm TX--Notebook section

Not sure what you mean by "Notebook section", but you need to have a print software installed on the TX to print directly to a printer (without a computer). You can use PrintBoy: It will enable you to print wirelessly from your TX. Otherwise, try using CardReader and your USB cable to connect your palm as a usb card reader, to your computer. Then you can transfer the images or any needed files to your PC.

Up-grading from tungsten E2 to TX existing SD card not recognised

What size SD card are you using? TX supports 2Gig cards with no prb. I did hear that some are having prbs with 4Gig cards. Also, make sure that the card isn't locked from being read, by checking the little slider knob on the card.
