I have a lowrey m-375 organ. The lower keyboard works sometimes and other times it just doesn't make any noise at all. Very rarely the upper keyboard cuts out but never for long, any ideas? thanks

These older units like this usually inherit intermittent problems like this from sitting up and gathering dust. There are many switches and relays inside this model, and other electrical connections that would get dirty or corroded over the years. I think a good professional servicing would fix this.

Receiver static

It could be just a lead, check your lead heads and inserts are clean.
Check along your leads and wires for any obvious kinks / tight bends / cuts / nicks / something sitting down on it or any damage to the wires.

It could be there is another electrical device nearby interfering at a electromagnetic level.

It could be just the dials / knobs need taking off and cleaning in behind. the pickups, you may not need to remove them just spray with electronic cleaner b3203b06-4ced-4fda-befd-44f385f97b7e.jpg this stuff is great for lots of different electrical cleaning problems.
Good luck

Power button intermittant travelmate 2300 series laptop brand new power pack tried both power and charging lights on suspect switch but where can i get said power switch and who is agent in worthing area...

I don't know who has them in the Worthing area, but I have seen them listed on Ebay. (Not advertising for Ebay)
They list as an ON/OFF Switch Assembly, for the Acer Travelmate 2300. A small circuit board.
Proper name from Acer is just - Switch Board.

(Rectangular in shape, would be the easiest way to describe the circuit board. Has more than just the Power On switch. Also has the Launch Key buttons, that are next to the Power On button)

Two screws attach the board, and one end plugs into the motherboard. There are other components that need to be removed first.

1.Remove the AC adapter, (Charger), if plugged in. Remove the Battery. There must be no electrical sources for the laptop.

2.Buy, and wear an ESD wrist s-trap. (Censored word, s-trap)
Connect the alligator clip to a good ground source.
(I use an empty desktop computer case, and connect to the metal frame)
Average cost is $6 USD, and can be found in a multitude of places. (Radio Shack is one)

Electro Static Discharge
Your body carries Static. Static electricity will fry out the delicate hardware components inside a computer. You may not even see it, or feel it.
An ESD wrist s-trap helps to relieve your body of static.

3.The cover that goes over the Power On button switch, and Status Indicator lights, pops off.

It comes straight up. I use a flat tip Jewelers screwdriver, and ease up the side, Opposite of the Power On button.
As it comes up insert a plastic letter opener, guitar pick, or similar device to keep the gap open that you have created.

Use the screwdriver to go along the bottom edge of the strip, and head towards the Power On button side. (Bottom edge faces keyboard)

This shows the Switch Board with the cover removed,

Hi,

I think filter or sticky keys enabled.
Go to Accessibility options in control panel and disable it.

Hope this helps.

Control switch for upper grille/oven is operating intermittently.ie. indicator lights not coming on. Is this likely to be the switch or the electronic control panel?

If` it is intermittent, it could be bad connection, or the control switch is faulty, if you can gain access to the control panel, check for bad or burnt connections, unlikely to be board, but not unknown for them to go faulty.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Ge model agv12abg1 window air conditioner thermal overload cut's unit off after about 2 minutes, (unit get's extremely hot on outside right upper corner of the case), but will cool in approx 1 minute and...

sounds to me as if the heater and a/c may possibly coming on at the same time causing too many amps to be pulled from the electrical box causing the overload to be tripping. You should also check to insure there is a clean coil. If there is a dirty coil or any type of blockage to the coil it will cause a compressor to over heat and trip the overload switch.
