There is a thing called a switch that you can activate to turn it off unless you are using it
That saves about 85% of the power bill
retime the timer to run at longer periods for less time or fit your own timer in the lead to the pump

I just bought a used older garden leisure spa, it won;t turn off. The manual says push button once for low pump, twice for high pump and a third time for off. I only get low and high pump speeds.

This can be normal depending in the settings. It may continue to run for upto 15 minutes, its just looking to satisfy it's heat or filter cycle.

Spa pumps makes alot of noise when set on low. Sounds better when set on high, but will lock up when switching between the two. Garden leisure spa.

Either have the motor rebuilt or replace it. At some point in time you had a pump seal leak which lead to the berrings going out. If you replace the motor be sure to replace the seal as well.

How many hours of sleep do I need to have every night? If I am getting less, should I take sleep medication?

On average, a person needs about 7-8 hours a night. It's very individual and some people need around 10 and others can cope with less. A lot of people don't get as much sleep as they really need. If you are sleeping less than you need you should try some natural remedies to extend your night of sleeping. I would not rush to take any kind of medication unless you have confirmed with your doctor that it's a sleep disorder.

Windows sleep mode problems

Sleep mode on a Windows 7 PC saves power without you having to turn your computer off and without losing any work. This option cuts the power to your monitor, powers down the hard drive and pauses all functions until you awaken the computer from hibernation. Whether you have a laptop, desktop or workstation, putting your computer into sleep mode will lower your electric bill and save money! Click the "Start" button in the lower left corner of your desktop. In the lower right corner of the Start menu, next to the "Shut Down" button, is a button labeled with a small, right-pointing arrow. Mouse over the arrow. The Shut Down menu appears. Point at "Sleep" and click on this option. Your Windows 7 computer goes into sleep mode. Wake your computer from sleep mode by jiggling the mouse. There may be a delay of a few seconds before your hardware powers on. All of your open programs are still open and your work is intact, just as you left it before the computer entered sleep mode. Configure your Windows 7 PC to go into sleep mode automatically when it is not used for a certain amount of time. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Click "System and Security." Click "Power Options." A menu opens. Click on "Choose when the computer sleeps" and select the number of minutes of inactivity. You can also set a separate time interval to put your monitor into sleep mode. If you set both to 10 minutes, then your PC and monitor will automatically go into sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity

93 is sleep mode
after setting the amount of hours you want the system runs then down and then sleeps
the system will then turn on again the same time the next day and run those hours again

Unplug and re plug if you want to change the hours

also remeber it is not wise to let it run cycles like that
some days you need different hours of generating

It all depends on what chlorine level you started with

Code 93

93 is sleep mode
after running the hours you set it goes into sleep mode
It will turn on the same time that you originally set it to start and run its cycle again
Just unplug and replug to set it

Sleep mode is not always welcome since you may need different amount of hours on different days depending on sun, heat, and number of swimmers
Every day is different

Pump is running ever 5 minutes. The heat in the

Sounds as if the 'mode' for the tub is set to sense the temperature of the water. see if there is a setting on the control box to a 'timed' setting for filtering and heating instead of controlled by the temperature setting. the problem is the the control box is away from the water and when it calls for heat it is because the water is cooler there than in the hot tub. so when it calls for heat and the water starts to circulate it gets the hot water from the body of the hot tub and then shut down because it senses the 'hot water'. make sense?
