Yamaki did quite good guitars. It was probably made between 1970 and 1975.

The next step would be to find a serial number on it, maybe inside, maybe on the headstock.

Maybe. I have a partial list of numbers. Just post the serial number here, in a comment.

Very sorry, I have searched hard, but can't date that serial number to one year.

How do I reglue a loose top to the body of an old guitar?

The metal rod inside the neck of the guitar must be bent back into shape. Go to a local music shop (find one online near you) and ask them to repair it for you.

Replacing the battery

It is easy to replace the battery in your Washburn guitar.

The battery compartment is located where you plug in an instrument cable to your guitar. Simply open it and take out the old battery and put in a new 9V. battery.

Serial number 00232029

Your best bet would be to call Gibson at 1-800-4GIBSON and ask them.
Your guitar was made at the Bozeman Plant , MT, USA
January 23rd, 2002
Production Number: 29

Many times I have found Gibsons that did not match the alleged specs, and these guitars are sometimes hybrids put together by bored employees that forget which model they're building, or even more bored employees that want to stir things up and make a one-of-a-kind guitar.
My old bass player bought a brand new Gibson Les Paul 5-string bass that had the best features of both the Deluxe and Standard models, and Gibson informed him that it was a hybrid experimental model, 1 of 3. Makes it more unique and valuable in my book.

Hey my ax260 strings rattle alot mainly the bass strings? and every time i touch the coil tap knob a ugly sound comes from the amp its not even a year old yet and never been knocked over or droped could...

Strings "rattling" is usually guitar setup. This has to do with string height and POSSIBLY the neck truss rod. For the latter, have a guitar shop set it up for you. Hum from touching a knob is likely a broken ground wire in the cavity of the guitar. Also view videos on YouTube search "Guitar setup"

Amazing guitar!

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the specialized plug you need. Being 1 out of less than 400, it is doubtful that they are still being made. However; any decent music shop will be able to repair your old plug.

Guitar truss rod dilemma

The truss rod must be too slack then.
Is the sound ok? Does it play ok?
In it's current state the truss rod is doing nothing.
If the guitar is sounding ok and playing ok, then the next time you change the strings pull the truss rod out and throw it in the garbage.lol
Seriously though...just pull it out and put it aside.
If,however, the guitar is not sounding ok then try tightening it.
If you're unsure about how much to tighten it then I suggest taking it to your local music store for help with that.

My guitar won,t play threw the amp lots oof static

The things to check arre FIRST the cable. These often have breaks or bad connectors. Replace with known good one and try it.

Next are the jacks on the guitar and the amp. These go bad and wiggling the KNOWN good cable at each end will flag which or both being bad.

Next are the switches and potentiometers in the guitar. Use some CRC226 sprayed into the pot and switch contacts... use sparingly...

The key is to find which thing or things are bad.
