Question about Minka Dryers

Open Question

How do I make a Minka Aire MR36T-10605B (6+5UF) Ceiling fan respond to command?

We have a Minka Aire fan and the receiver model is MR36T-10605B (6+5UF). Due to a number of reasons we did not install our fan until well after the warranty period. Once it was installed and the AC was switched on, the fan is on Max speed. The remote does not change the speed or light. I tried changing the frequency switches on the remote and followed the procedure. [Within 60 seconds of turning the Receivers AC power ON. Press the transmitter's "Stop" button for more than 3 seconds.] However, the light never flashes and the remote does not control speed or light. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix it? Is it possible?

SOURCE: Minka Aire Remote control R211

You need to change the tiny DIP switch settings so each fan is set up differently. (Note that each pair of remote transmitters--the one in the fan body, held in a bracket above the light kit when you drop that down; plus the one on the wall switch or in a hand-held remote, must be set with the same combination.)
Our Minka Aire Churchill model has 4 DIP switches; I have seen Casablancas with 5.

SOURCE: Minka Aire remote controlled ceiling fan

I have a newer Minka w/ wall controller. The books says to make sure both the wall control and the receiver(up in the fan) are both programmed the same. My receiver has no little switches but has a sticker stating that you need to hold the 'fan off' button down for 3 seconds after turning on the power so the receiver can memorize the program in the wall switch. You have 60 sec to do this after power is turned on. Good luck !

I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.

Minka Aire model f603 reverse switch?

Not sure what model of fan or manufacture you have. Says Hunter 52" & Minka aire F603. If it's the Minka , Then push the button on the lower part of the remote (6 o'clock). If that doesn't work then you might need a new receiver.

PROBABLY THE WALL CONTROL SWITCH IS BAD.
