The tube seal is leaking and this means the tub bearing may be worn out, this is a huge job to replace and requires lots of hand tools and a good amount of mechanical skill.. If you are up to the job contact a website called the repairclinic for tech help and parts if you prefer.

I have a GE Top Poad WasherWJRE5550H1WW that intermittantly leaks

There seems to be an overflow drain from the top of the tub to the bottom (inside the cabinet). I don't know why this was designed to dump water onto your floor.

i'd check the drain pump-there is a seal where it attaches to the motor-leaks often there, also could be a leak in your tub seal between the tub and transmission, also sometimes the outter plastic tub gets a crack in it and leaks

My ge dishwasher will drain but after a few hours

Could be a crack in the tub, bad seal at the pump if water is leaking out onto the floor. If water is pooling inside the DW then a bad water control valve allowing water to leak back into the tub from the source.

GE Top load washer.

Hello rschneeweis
Welcome,

Sounds like a seal or drain hose is leaking or the clamp on a hose has vibrated loose.

Water leaking out the bottom of the machine when washing machine begins agitation cycle. If the machine is turned off the water stops leaking even with the tub full of water.

Let me know if you found it and how you do.

GE top load washer leaks on floor

Check your hoses mostly the small hose going from the side of the tub to the water switch these come off a lot. you need to look and see if the seal is leaking from the center of the tub you do this by putting water in the tub and just looking around the bottom of the tub and transmission
