Question about Vacuums
Change the caister seal
Posted on Jul 24, 2009
Is it a bagless/ filterless system? if so the unfiltered air goes through the motor and is ehausted out. All of the older systems from kenmore i have seen worked like this and must be ehausted outside. I will say that this is a terrable design because the dust going through the motor is **** on it. I would replace the entire tank with a bagged or at least filtered system. Nutone or Hayden would be my first choice. You can always vent it outside to help, but that isn't going to make your motor last.
