Question about Makita Drills
First check to see if there is a chuck retaining screw, if so it is left hand thread, second open the jaws and find a bent handle allen wrench about the capacity of the chuck and insert the smaller portion and tighten. if you have a wrench that will fit the spindle that is great, if not make sure tool is in low position and put chuck on work bench at about a 30 degree angle and you will be hitting the allen wrench counter clockwise to loosen. it might take a couple time but it will come off
